“My best friend brought me to Casanova's for lunch.Excellent: he had a homemade soup, a hearty creamy chicken soup, based on a Peruvian recipe. I had an Italian tapas plate--a fennel salami, a prosciutto, some balsamic-glazed mozz, and too much more to mention. Tasted the sparkling Cava and a red Primitivo (the original Zin, literally. Italian), both punching well above their modest price.Sat at the small counter. Learned a lot about wine and butchery chatting with the owner. Casanova's will be a regular stop now when I'm in Omaha.”

“Great local store. Maybe I am just lucky but every time I randomly stop in, they always have something hard to find available for purchase at a great price. The first time I went into the store, the owner introduced himself to me and gave me to rundown of how the store is set up. Every time I've been in the store, even when very busy the owner or one of his staff members always takes time to kindly welcome their customers to the store and point out anything special in the store. If you are looking for a good liquor store, I recommend Spirits & Things Liquor.”

“I wish I could give this place 6 stars!!! I was looking for a place to have a staff meeting after hours on a Tuesday and I sent messages from websites to multiple other wine joints and voicemails for those that didn't have a message option - I didn't even get a return call or message. BUT, when I called WineStyles - Ata answered the phone and assured me that we would have a space, appetizers, and wine available. It was AMAZING!! Ata and Nicole are knowledgeable and always looking for ways to make the experience more enjoyable. The food........make a reservation for Friday evening - you will be glad you did!!! There is a variety of seating options, cozy couches and chairs as well as community tables. I've made some amazing friends at WineStyles!!!”

“This is one of my favorite spots. Their patio is incredible with huge, warming fire pits. Everyone who works there is fun and knowledgeable. Their food - I literally never leave without getting the popcorn and spinach artichoke dip. But what surprised me most at first is their prices. They have a huge range in bottles priced from mid 10s and up. And those that are $10-$30 aren't your average cheap grocery wine. They're carefully curated and absolutely delicious!”

“Dailey's is a nice neighborhood liquor store just south of Bedford right on N. 30th St. Attached to it is a car detail shop that always looks busy. I don't drink but I've been to the liquor store dozens of times with family members or to buy chips and pop or candy. Nice old North Omaha family owns that and, I believe, several other existing or previous businesses.”

“I like this place! It has the same ownership as Main Street Cellars in Elkhorn. My sense is that the inventory at this location is less expensive and not as expansive. But that's okay. I don't regularly spend $300 plus on a bottle from Stagelin Vineyard (The Parent Trap.) He didn't have any Carmenre in stock and I clued him in on the story. It helps to sell the grapes! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. The music was Yacht Rock from Sirius and I love that channel.”
