Definitely takes you back in time looks the same as it did when I was a kid! The old man is the kindest man you will ever meet. 93 years old and still runs that shop everyday I will not get bait anywhere else. If you want a true genuine welcome experience shop at Joes . But remember bring cash ,still works like the old days . No cards.

To be honest it's set up terribly it's like a one person hallway and a bunch of nonfishing related stuff, it's generally the 93year old alone so its like I get it, it's gonna take a while but why wouldn't you help him out.. good bait good prices good experience but prolly work on management and scheduling

Gone many times to buy random things usually take worms regardless but the owners pretty cool and funny definitely recommend if it’s close and need to go buy fishing supplies.

Based off an visit from over a year ago. Stopped by here to get some supplies for a tent camping trip. I wanted to look at several items behind the counter and the guy there was rather rude in not letting me look at several items. Telling me if that's what I wanted to do I could go to walmart. So I took his advice and spent my money at walmart (for far less than his prices too). Very mean and no customer service skills. Sad as I remember going here as a kid and things were different then. He either needs to close up or sell to someone with better people skills. Don't go here.
