I appreciate this company but I definitely don't appreciate the inflation every 6 months, you should be somewhat rewarded if anything rather than punished for a good/clean driving record ? but maybe it's goes hand in hand with the economy issues we're having

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was recently rear ended and when I called to let them know that I was in an accident they have been completely unhelpful. I have had to do everything on my own. They have not done one thing to help me through the process. I had to reach out to the other driver's insurance company to file a claim and then when I found out he didn't have a policy at the time of the accident I called Allstate back and they told me I had to file a claim with their claims department and that I would never see my money back. That was it. They didn't offer to help me with anything they told me I should get estimates before I file a claim to see if it was going to cost less than my deductible because I shouldn't file a claim then because it can go against me. Even though I was not at fault for the accident. Also the place that I received an estimate from told me that Allstate will not accept any estimates that they only accept their own so I have already wasted my time at the advice of my agent. I have tried talking to James multiple times about this accident and each time he doesn't answer the questions I ask and when I actually get him to address the real question I asked he never knows the answer. I don't know if all Allstate agents are like this but James is unhelpful and uninformed. I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. I have spoken to other insurance companies and family members who are insured by others and everyone has told me that I have had to jump through multiple hoops and that this is not how the process should go. I am extremely unhappy and have left them. I only wish I would have dropped them much much sooner.

Anything I need changed or if I've needed roadside assistance they've been very good with responding and making sure everything was okay they have great customer service on the phone
