This lil barber shop in the woodmen tower downtown Omaha is a hidden gem. The hair stylist, Matt is very professional, friendly and gives a great haircut. You must enter on the Farnam st entrance, get a name tag and from the security guard and take elevator to the 5th floor. Matt is a regular guy that tells funny stories and will give you great inexpensive haircut.

I definitely recommend going to Hair Is. Matt was awesome and made me feel comfortable the whole time he was cutting my hair. He is very friendly and a great conversationalist. Most importantly, he did a fantastic job on my hair, which I had ruined with a bad home job.

Nowhere on the google site does it say an appointment is necessary. I walk 1/2 a mile to get a haircut and I’m turned away. Not one person in the shop. Plus it’s on the 5 th floor of a bank. No signs. I had to ask directions all the way only to end up with nothing.Correction I just looked at his actual website. It says you can walk in or make an appointment so screw him twice.
