Had my wedding here and it was amazing! Everyone I worked with along the way was so caring and helpful, always took the time to answer any and all of my questions. They really took off a lot of the stress of planning a wedding. The day of all the staff was phenomenal and the food they made was OUTSTANDING!!! Seriously couldn't have gone any better. Laurie and Darcy are some of the sweetest and kindest people to work with ❤️

Went here for Oktoberfest. It's a decently large building with a good outside area and plenty of parking. I can't speak for other events, but Oktoberfest was fun with plenty of food and drinks. Lots of vendors showed up for the event including some German breweries. The food and drinks are expensive however.

Attended Octoberfest here, really had the feel of Munich. Bands playing lots of classics, home cooked brats and pretzels, good beer flowing and many people dressed in their best leidahosen.

I got married a few weekends ago and had my reception at the German American Society. All I can say is AMAZING! Everything was just amazing! Darcy was so kind and checked in throughout the night to see if we needed anything. His daughter was also so kind to us. All of the staff was wonderful. Everyone kept raving about how wonderful everything was. The food was DELICIOUS and some of the best I’ve ever had at a reception! The night went smoothly and I can’t thank them enough for making my day that much more special! If you don’t know about this place, go check it out! Thank you to everyone who helped make it the best night ever for my husband and I. ❤️

We had a retirement dinner there. Some of the worst food we have eaten at a place that is supposed to serve good food. Pork was pink, not fully cooked,. The chicken was tuff. The iced tea was the worst we ever had. We will never go back there again.

I have frequented GAS for years for their various festivals. They always throw very organized and smoothly run events. I love coming for fall Oktoberfest and winter Bockfest. With two levels, and an outdoor area, there is plenty of places to order authentic german beer.I enjoy the authentic garb, and music played during events. The food is out of this world, such good schnitzel and pretzels to keep your stomach full.Highly recommend stopping here for events no matter your background.
