I visited the Dollar Tree on 123rd and West Center. I shopped for over an hour to select Easter items for my grandchildren and I waited in a long line, as it was very busy. I set my basket and other items on the conveyer belt. There was a manager named Steven behind the register. I said hello and he said nothing. He grabbed the basket, lifted it up high above the belt and proceeded to dump the contents out as he shook the basket aggressively. I was horrified in general, besides the fact that many of the items could’ve been broken or damaged. I called him out on his behavior. He immediately pointed to the door and said, “Get out!” I was shocked, but tried to reason with him. He asked me if I was going to apologize. Much to my chagrin, I apologized. All I could think about was the time I spent choosing the gifts. I didn’t want to have to go to another location and start all over. As he was scanning everything, all I could think about was the what all the customers and other employees were thinking. I paid for the merchandise and left. All I kept thinking about was, did that really just happen. I was feeling remorseful that I didn’t just turn around and leave after he shouted at me to leave. I compromised my character and how I believe people should act, especially in the position of manager. All I can do now is report what happened and hope that you will relieve him of his position. No one in the customer service industry should be allowed to treat customers in such an unprofessional and unethical manner. Will not be going back to this location.

We arrived at 8:45pm not expecting to be greeted rudely by a lady named Cathy. She told us they were closing in less than 10 mins and they closed at 9pm instead of 10pm like it says on the website. We told her we had time to shop for the few things we needed. Around 8:52pm she approached my boyfriend and told him he needed to hurry up because they were closing “right now” and so was the register. I also work in retail and know for a fact the register does not close until you do it yourself or until the exact time the store closes. So why were we rushed with 8 minutes to spare? She was very snappy and demanding for us to leave from the start. We were not informed the hours changed before she told us in a not so appreciative way. The other lady working was very nice and I politely told her to tell Cathy she was extremely rude to us. Now I know to not go into a dollar tree 15 mins before closing (not knowing they were closing at that time) because we were not welcomed at all.

There is one cashier by herself no presence of a manager know presence of any other party working at the store. She doesn't get any 15 minute break she doesn't get any potty breaks she's lucky to get a lunch and that's being brought in by somebody else there's no presence of a store manager or any other body like a stalker or they could be hiding in the office or a back room or loading dock or anything else I wouldn't want to be out there the aisle is down from the register to the to the back of the store and then it turns into an L as it goes all the way down the back of the store from the third aisle to the last aisle of the store

I love this dollar tree. They even opened all the registers at 1 point. Employs people. I spend a lot of money even at 1.25. They sell name brands too.

Our cashier was very friendly and just seemed like a really good person. This place has a great variety of everyday needs and some fun items. Very reasonable prices. Maybe not the best quality around and the place feels a bit dark but overall reasonable for what you would expect at the Dollar Tree.

These stores don't get the love they deserve - quality items at good prices, you just to look.

Update edit September 3,2023:Store remains dirty. Shelves are never fully stocked. Other Dollar Tree locations are much better than this one.Lines at checkout are long. Expect a wait. There are still some bargains there, but with the raise in prices, it's becoming less of a bargain to go there. They now have items that are up to $5 items, some of which used to be $1 items. I used to buy the folding storage bins for a dollar and now they're $3. I have found them in other stores less than $3, so I certainly won't be buying them there anymore.
