The urgency here is nonexistent. I stood in the line for 10 minutes today, while Cindy, the worker proceeded to continue to skip me in line. She called the man behind me come forward, and then had a woman who came to the line after me come in front of me. I don’t know if it was because she didn’t like the way I was dressed (I came straight from thee gym) or if she just doesn’t care for the younger generation, considering I hadn’t had one single interaction with her prior, or in this instance. She didn’t ask me for my name, or give any explanation as to why she was being petty calling everyone around me. I eventually got tired of waiting and was so frustrated that she kept skipping around me, so I ended up going to the patient counseling counter and expressing my frustration to the manager who was MORE than helpful. I did not catch his name, but he apologized on her behalf and got me my prescription (that was and had been ready) immediately. Not sure what Cindy’s deal was, but her customer service is terrible.

Let's face it... we all walk in with a cart, with the idea of only getting a rotisserie chicken... yet we end up with a cart full of stuff we never knew we needed and never intended to get. What's not to love? Get your strawberries , pork loin, garden hose, and new dishes while the bakers are making your cake and your $1.50 hotdogs is being ordered. What more do you need? Maybe a tire or two! Best of all, is if there is something you buy and it doesn't "taste just right" or just doesn't work out for you, you can return that item without any hassle. I like the fact that they have also started checking people's Costco cards at the check out, to ensure that it truly is a member using the membership. Sadly I do have one complaint about this Costco location, and I'm sorry to say I've heard the same complaint over and over by customers standing next to me. Remember I mentioned the chicken we all originally went in for? Well my complaint ( and others ) seem to get the same guy putting out the chicken and he tends to take his time doing so and tries to control how many he will put out at a time. I've heard comments from people asking "what's his deal?" or "does he think he needs to control the chicken output?" Worst of all I heard one patron call him " the chicken nazi". Now he seems to get those chickens out all at one time when he has management hanging about , but other than that, it's a bit of a downer when we see him dealing out the chicken. I know it's petty, I get that! But I came in for just a chicken and ended up getting a set of tires! Still giving 5 stars!

My wife and I have been shopping at Costco for years. Our niece works at Costco and we are one of her users. We are from out of town and we were pleased to find a Costco close to where we are staying. We spent more than an hour in this store picking out items needed for a visit to my mother's assisted living. When it came time to check out is when our problems started. My wife didn't have her Visa card with her on this trip. No big deal though as we share everything, bank accounts, credit card accounts, home address, EVERYTHING. Now we got all items rung up, in the cart, and using my Visa card tapped for payment. The cashier says " whoa is that your card?" I said yes.. he says "are you on her account", I say my wife's? Now because my wife is on our nieces account my name isn't on the account. At this point I am in line, items in the cart and paid. My wife and I are confused by this as we have always shopped together and used each other's cards for payment as needed based on scenario's. I said well if we can't use this card we will need to leave all items as my wife did not have a Visa card at this moment. The RUDE cashier turns and actually loudly yells for assistance. Really??? This supervisor comes and after hearing this looks as confused as we were but reiterates the "policy". SMH- we felt belittled and extremely embarrassed but both Costco employees. I actually felt like a criminal leaving your store. What a disappointment!!! This happened yesterday and my wife and I are still upset.

If buy tires at Costoco do not expect them to service them. I bought a set of Michelin tires a year ago. I've had two flat tires at two different times and cannot get them serviced at Costco. They claim to service the tires they sell, however, they do not take appointments for service - only for sales. There is no lockbox so you cannot drop your car off. There is no courtesy service available. hey will not even guarantee when/if they will look at your car. This has happened twice to me already. Sorry I didn't go elsewhere.

Costco does everything in their power to not support tire warranty claims. I had 2 tire places both tell me that my tires are covered under warranty and Costco declines. Their tire center sucks! Don't come here

I’ve always had excellent service, and the RX prices are great. I could not understand the lower ratings, then saw they are mostly from 4, 5, 6 years ago.

Great prices but rude customer service . I had issues on my refill and the guy who was working the counter didn’t even care to help me figure out why they weren’t refilled .

The best in the business easily. The other reviewers mostly nailed it but I'll throw on new stuff to keep us recent - self checkout kiosks for food court orders, self checkout in general. New return policy, MUST have ORIGINAL receipt with purchase; I know it's not fun but if you buy something expensive just tape it on the back easy peasy. I've also seen some confusion about alcohol purchases - purchaser must be 21 and in possession of the membership used for purchase. It's not even a Costco thing it's a liquor license law thing . Last things last if you need to pay with credit it's gonna have to be Visa (highly recommended the Costco Citi Visa for 1-tap gas, 4% back on gas, 3% back on restaurants/hotels, 2% back @ Costco warehouses, and 1% elsewhere. PLUS the membership is printed on the back of your CC so checking out is a one card ordeal; the cashiers love it. App support is phenomenal.) I work there and am proud of the face we put on for our members. You'll notice 1 star review trends mentioning workers not letting members break rules or funnier yet griping at them to move faster. Between that and the parking complaints I would argue that we're suffering from success. My best advice for a smooth journey is as follows: 1) If you can, SHOP WEEKDAYS. 2) Every day of the week, move like a New Yorker: walk where you're going quickly, and do not start an aisle wide conversation with your church friend - save it for the potluck! If you're in the main isle taking your time, someone IS behind you wishing they could pass. 3) Asking for help can be embarrassing, but it's never as embarrassing as meandering and gawking at our unfortunate lack of signage. Ask for help! 4) If advice isn't adding up, ask for help again! Some of my coworkers are stupid! 5) If you don't have reusable grocery bags despite it being 2022 and it's a busy busy day, you're also allowed to grab almost-empty boxes from the shelves - we will not get jealous, just be considerate. 6) Costco Citi Visa Card. 7) Costco App for Digital Membership Card. 8)* IF you buy our gasoline at a typically ~20¢ lower markup than surrounding stations, please pull in as much as possible when you see room - the gas line will reach to the other side of your car, don't sweat the "wrong" lane. Those who worry about shopping with 1000 other members simultaneously will be glad to hear a secondary far west Costco location is being scouted to alleviate the somewhat extreme Dodge location demand.

Hours are limited, they take long lunch breaks, always a bunch of people waiting. The prices are not worth the hassle of actually trying to get service.

Horrible costumer service. In the self check out line with some friends and we repeatedly got asked very intrusive questions regarding our age and the legitimacy of our Costco membership. Very strange. Believe the staff member name was Flax? Anyways, do better Costco!!!!!!!!

I've never had a bad experience here. I snagged a Costco membership when I was a freshman in college and split the membership with my parents. The gas is a little cheaper, and if you know what to look for you're going to get a good deal! Anything Kirkland is probably going to be cheaper and also pretty good quality! It's a great place to buy toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies and bulk frozen foods. On the edges of the aisles there is usually discounted foods and those are usually where you're going to save the most money and get your money back on your membership.. if you're buying for a single person, I'm not sure if it's worth it but if you're buying for a household you will get most of your money back and probably save money if you get the right products! I didn't learn until several years in that they will fill up your tires for you and that has definitely been a nice extra to not having to get out - especially during the colder months.

I sent my 17 year old to shop for our family on his way home from school. He loaded up the cart and when he got to the register was told he wasn't able to make the purchase. He must be 18 years old.

Friendly staff, great customer service. On pricing, some things are well priced versus other stores (rotisserie chicken, gas, special items, etc), whereas others (when I shop at Aldi) like fruit/veg are not really great prices. I likely couldn't do all my shopping at Costco for budget purposes but I love going and getting select items and trying out some of their new products.
