DO NOT use this bank. They scam you out of your money and play stupid about it. They are a horrible lending service and have a horrible, horrible coustimer service.I paid off an auto lone a year ago. Now i'm in need of the title, I call my local dmv to get it, they tell me it's not been released yet. So I call this ridiculous bank to get it released whare they tell me I didn't pay $2.00 on my last payment. So now I owe the two dollars plus all the interest. I have argued and argued with them as they know I have paid it. Why would I leave two dollars in my account? I wouldn't.... I can thank a few reasons a scamming bank would though... Food for thought. Please don't use these crooks

Sitting in drive thru forever, I finally pull up and they tell me they have to wait on someone in the lobby!! Really I’m sure I was waiting longer than the person in the lobby.Won’t come back to this location.

Well shame on me for not checking the reviews of this bank before I opened my account they have now literally taken all of my money because of an error on my paycheck that was not my fault now they are holding a check of mine that was to replace that other check that was one day later until September 3rd and they charged me all kinds of fees which I can't go into and look at because they have locked me out of my account. This is the first place I'm stopping at to post this but I am going to continue on to find out who else I can complain to about this bank because this is absolutely ridiculous

I have sent 6 emails to the customer service department and not one email was responded to. I had to call today and wait 30 minutes on the phone and to be told that my issue could not be resolved. Does no one care anymore?

I work personally with Mayura at this branch. She is by far one of the best in the business. Mayura is organized, attentive, easy to talk to & gets things done!

I recently had money taken out of my account by someone other than myself and it caused me to go negative. They said that they couldn't not charge me an overdraft few because they only can do it once a year. How is that justification? Thanks for the help.

Bank of the West has changed, and not for the better. Before I get to my complaints, I want to say that the staff is wonderful, this is not about them. My biggest grievance worth BOW is that I need a bank that remains open so I can get there after work and is open on the weekendweekend. Bank of the West recently changed their hours so that they close at 5 every weekday, and are never open on Saturday. Thankfully, pretty much every other bank in town is open past 5pm and is open on Saturday. My lesser grievance is having to change my pin number when I got a new debit card. Since I activated the card when I received it on Friday, I wasn't able to use it all weekend since I didn't have the new pin number. I called in to find the new pin, but I was told I can only change it in store. Since Bank of the West isn't open past 5pm or on Saturday, my card was worthless and I had no access to my money. I will be switching banks tomorrow, and I want to recommend that others look elsewhere for your banking needs.

They charge a $7.50 fee for cashing any personal checks over $50. I took my $300 check to my bank and had to file a complaint with the California Department of Financial Services since this bank is commercial Federal. Travis Landwehr is a weirdo as well - I asked for his card so I could let the department know who was managing at that time who didn't waive this fee. He handed me his managers card not his. I came back just to get his card. I was told by my employee that Bank of the West was all about extorting and he was 100% correct. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!
