Would just like to share my positive experience. Called with questions about a charge on my account and was helped very quickly and professionally by a young guy I think he said Aaron but not sure! 132nd California location 430 ish Jan 17th. Anyways very nice, understanding. His customer service is hard to find these days! :)

My concern is that the 132nd & California location is a large branch but not open on Saturday morning. Additionally, I live in Elkhorn and this location is the closest to me. Why would there not be another branch in the fastest growing part of the city?! This is ridiculous! I’m moving my business.

It is unfortunate to report that my experience with Bank of the West has been extremely unpleasant. From the moment I entered its facilities, I could see that the appearance of the branch was neglected and dirty, which made me question the seriousness and commitment of this bank to its customers.Also, during my interaction with your customer support staff, I witnessed inadequate and unprofessional service. I felt ignored and neglected, which led me to lose confidence in the ability of this entity to provide a quality service.As if that wasn't enough, I found out that Bank of the West has been using deceptive and unethical practices to deceive its customers, which I consider to be unacceptable and immoral conduct.In summary, my experience with Bank of the West has been very negative, due to their poor customer service, dirty and inadequate appearance of their facilities, and unethical practices. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone looking for quality service and honesty in their financial operations.In addition to the above, I would like to add my dissatisfaction regarding the deceptive practice that I have experienced in connection with the promotion of the $200 cash bonus that [name of banking institution] offers to new account holders.I was drawn to this offer, which states that one must spend $1000 in purchases within 3 months of account opening to be eligible for the cash bonus. However, after making the necessary purchases and meeting the stated requirements, I was informed that the bonus was not available to me due to "technical issues".I felt cheated and let down by this unethical practice by Bank of the West. This situation leads me to question the integrity and honesty of the entity, and makes me doubt whether I would recommend this institution to other clients in the future.In conclusion, not only have I had a negative experience with Bank of the west poor customer service and sloppy facilities, but I have also been the victim of a deceptive practice related to the promotion of the cash bonus. For these reasons, I definitely cannot recommend anyone to do business with this bank.

I just got married last year and my name changed so I asked for a new debit card. The first one they sent me just had my first initial and then my last name. I called and asked them if they could send me a new card with my full name on it. I just called the bank today and I asked them where my new debit card is. They said it was canceled 2 weeks for some reason. The manager said he would look into why it was canceled ?. My husband and I are considering looking for other banks and to close our account.

Worst bank around. Horrible hours and customer service and it's impossible to contact a person over the phone to try to do anything. Before I tried closing my account they randomly deactivated my card without telling me and with no explanation multiple times. Months after trying to close my account I get a letter in the mail telling me my account that should not exist anymore is overdrafted

Sent a payoff amount for a loan to this address and when we call to see if the check is being processed, they have no way to get a hold of the location the payment is mailed to. So the customer service number to call for loan information cannot contact this particular location and apparently this bank does not have the ability to make notes on the account to mark the account as having received payoff. A manager, Mike, told us he could see the check on Tuesday, then we call back on Friday, he said he never said that and can't see the check until it posts. So this bank doesn't make notes that payoff amounts were received and being processed? And departments can't communicate with each other to find out where the payoff checks are? Oh, and when they don't like that you want answers, they simply hang up the phone. Horrible customer service and horrible organization. And the corporate number doesn't answer their phone to speak to anyone higher...Apparently the manager Mike is the highest, so when you get no answers with him, you're just stuck waiting and hoping the check gets applied properly. They have until Tuesday to apply the check to the account, or we'll have to do the leg work and find out of the check written was cleared and then contact Bank of the West again and tell them it was cleared and it needs to be applied to our account. This is the most unorganized bank I have ever had to deal with and will never use them for anything in the future. Beware if you chose to do business with this bank.

I've been waiting since March for a refund owed me since my rv was totaled out by insurance. I've called every week since then and I still have no money. They don't even deserve one star but knew I couldn't comment is no stars. I'f you need a bank, my recommendation would definitely NOT BE THIS ONE Finds a reputable bank.STILL WAITING ON MY MONEY TO BE RETURNED.

I had my bank send a Check on March 1, 2021 to be delivered by March 5, 2021 to payoff my auto loan. My bank is still showing it in pending because it has not been cashed. To this day (March 16, 2021) NO ONE can find the check and nothing has been posted to my account. I was on hold for 1 hour and 35 minutes before anyone could talk to me. I was told that I was paid ahead until May 1st and that I should not cancel this check because of it being deposited and crossing with me going through their pay system, so just give it another 15 days. Are you kidding me???? Not a very happy person with their Customer Service. Evidently everything is good as long as you pay on time, but don't try and pay it off. I am extremely disappointed with their Customer Service.

Due to a systematic error, a payment for my Bank of the West was not properly applied. Bank manager Kyle Soares and his team was thoroughly professional and diligent in dealing with my concerns and issues...will not leave Bank of the West..and I recommend Bank of the West California Street location to anyone in need of banking services...

This particular branch seems to routinely have better customer service than any other branch. They dont treat you like a number here and they genuinely value your business. I work with Zach Lynch regularly here and have never had a problem. You can tell the way he conducts business and how he treats me that he genuinely cares about the people he helps and this is what keeps me and my company at bank of the west. If he would say yes, I'd hire the guy immediately. Hes a great example of what owners of companies want to see in their employees. Thanks for all your hard work Zach.
