The people who have worked there since before covid or since it was actually Bakers are great. All others are lazy and clueless. Asked to call a manager for more checkers and the one on duty advised there was no one else available while 2 people were behind customer service on their phone. Went to get a prescription and they said the whole RX was going to lunch, then when they came back said it would be another 30 minutes. This is ridiculous, pathetic and inexcusable, considering I had left the doctor at least 4 hours prior. Wish it was the old Bakers, but I guess I will have to start shopping elsewhere.

Violet checked me out and she was so genuine and nice. It made my day. Don't stop being you. Thank you

Online it said they were open and when I got there they were closed. I know it's minor and my fault for hoping that they'd be open on Christmas, but if you say you're the one place open on Christmas and kill that hope at the same time it leaves an impact.

Great neighborhood grocery store, only downside is that you will likely have to self checkout. Great options and prices for grocery pickup as well, and good deals on Kroger brands which are typically same as mainstream if not better/healthier. Great gas discounts too

I was in the Baker's at 156th and Dodge tonight and was just amazed at how much it has declined in cleanliness, appearance and convenience from when I first started shopping there 5 years ago. The place is poorly lit, it appears they have narrowed the aisles and shoved in self-checkout machines with outdated technology. The place is a pit and just really hard to find anything. It is obvious Kroger is putting no money into keeping this location up. Which is why we now do our regular shopping at the main competitor, even though it has higher prices. Too bad, as this was a really nice store at one point.

This is the Baker's off of 156th, near the Dodge expressway. Compared to other grocery stores, the lights in the store are not super bright but the signs are visible to guide you to the correct aisle. I was impressed with the frozen section, bakery variety, and steps recently taken to ensure shopper no employee safety. I found frozen items that was not offered at Hyvee or Family Fare stores. Staff were friendly and the employees were keeping the shopping carts from accumulating in the parking lots, a chore several stores neglect to do.

Gosh, this is such a great store. I can find things here that other Bakers either hides, doesn't carry, or doesn't make it easy to find. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Great sales. And better prices that HyVee. Just an all around good grocery store.

1. Literally every time I've been here, I've had to ask for a cashier. They don't just have one, which is ridiculous.2. The meat department here is just sad. Small, no variety, lackluster pricing. Even the shelf tags aren't as clear as the other locations as far as how much you're paying per pound. Just hit the Walmart across the street if you're in a hurry. The Bakers on 120th/Center has an outstanding meat department.3. The store hours and the hours of the departments in the store aren't great.

Service at the deli counter at 4:45 on Memorial Day was astonishingly bad. I suggest to management to just close the counter rather than have people working who don’t care and loathe serving customers.

I used to be a faithful Bakers shopper, but I've been noticing some pretty unsavory business practices in the last several months. For instance, they'll do fake sales. Take ice cream that had a normal price of $4.00-$4.99, they will mark it all up to $7.49 and then say it's on sale for $4.59. I'm sorry but Blue Bunny ice cream has never been $7.50, even with inflation. They've been doing this on several types of items. Bad business. This is all besides the fact that they don't restock their products throughout the day. Sometimes high demand items are just out of stock for weeks at a time. When you know a product sells out, why wouldn't you order a larger quantity to avoid this persistent issue?

Customer service is low. Waited 15 minutes in line to check out while 8 employees were putting together a bakery stand. Had to go to self checkout. Online orders are normally not ready on time. Sometimes an hour late. Waiting in the car with kids that long is not worth it. Trying to save time to just do a quick pickup. Substitutes aren’t close either.

I use the pickup service weekly. Only one time out of 20 did they have to call me and tell me they were running behind. Their pickup service is excellent. My orders have been accurate, and substitutions made are good. Once I had to wait 5 minutes, if they are busy, chill.

Order for curbside pick up for a time… time come to pick up they’re not ready. Waited another a hour not ready. The order was place at noon the pick up time was at night time. Gave them the whole day to pick up a simple order. The only reason I order curbside was for the coupons that they have would’ve done it myself. Bad time management and they are not helpful at all.
