Been going here off and on for the past year and a half since I moved to about a block away. Was never particularly happy with the poorly stocked shelves on top of an already extremely limited selection. Add to that, this is one of the few (two that I know of?) supermarket chains that require you to sign up for a loyalty card to get their sale prices, which has never seemed very customer friendly to me. Now tonight I stopped in, saw a good sale price, and saw on the sign that on top of needing a loyalty card, I now also have to download their app and use it to scan QR codes next to the product. In what world do you think that making shopping LESS convenient for the customer would inspire loyalty? I certainly can't see any reason to jump through all of these hoops when I can just drive an extra block to Walmart and have the sale prices come up at the register automatically. In fact, I think that's what I'll do from now on.

Small pharmacy and not too crowded. I have been using this pharmacy for a few years now and I like it.

The self check-outs have changed. They've become increasingly frustrating to use. They're slow, pausing for no reason, and most importantly you must be vigilant to avoid being charged double. Also there never seems to be enough live check-out cashers. After 20 years I'm afraid I have had enough. I will have to shop elsewhere from now on.

Pay $10 for my prescription at other Bakers. Had switched to this one bc it’s closer. They tried to charge me close to $50 for the same prescription. Told me it was my insurance not approving it. I call my insurance and they said they still cover it…bakers again said my insurance raised the price. Ended up giving me half my prescription so I could afford it better, still paid $38 for not even my full prescription. Whatever. Switch to another bakers and pay $10 like always…for my same prescription . Doesn’t help the pharmacist was rude af too. I kept asking to rerun it bc I knew it wasn’t correct. Pharmacist was insistent nothing was wrong so he didn’t even try. Said it was no error. Hmmm, look who was wrong? Won’t be going back to this location.

All the pharmacists at this location are extremely hard working, and have always treated me with respect.

Very disappointed in their customer service counter/ desk. It is routinely closed during hours it shows they should be open. I go to their pharmacy for my medication refills, and the customer service counter/ desk is closed again. Thinking about switching where I go for my pharmacy needs if their counter/ desk has another issue

This Baker's sometimes has sales on items I love to buy, and it ends up to be cheaper than the other Baker's on 120th that I usually shop in. But the staff is not helpful at all. They have no idea where items are stocked. So, if you have Baker's app, you can find everything easier.

Normally I probably wouldn't review a supermarket, but I'm here all the time, so why not. The good things about Bakers on saddle creek are as follows, - great selection - good prices if you have a bakers card - good wine selection - the cheese counter, this is the best part, much more friendly and less pretentious than whole foods. - quality meat counter - overall friendly employees, not Hyvee friendly, but still nice. Now the bad parts, - usually end up bagging my own groceries, never enough help up front - the carts are mostly beat to s*** and squeaky - sometimes no carts at front door - parking lot is a death trap - self check out areas are tiny, I'd do self check out more often if it wasn't such a pain. That's about it, I'd say 3.5 stars, better prices than hyvee, but not as friendly, way better selection than a lot of places as well.

Overall "Baker's on Saddlecreek" is my favorite grocery store in Omaha. Despite the parking lot... They are taking precautions in store and have sanitizer available at the entrance along with a mask required sign. I love the Private Selection brand they carry as well. One thing that I have come across recently is a decline in the service at the Deli counter. I once stopped in to get some sliced lunch meat. The woman behind the counter stated that her slicer had just been cleaned indicating that I would have to wait for another employee (nowhere in sight) to come back to use the other slicer right next to her. Other times it seems poorly staffed with brand new employees who have no clue what they are doing. On another trip I waited 15 minutes for service. There was one person in front of me who ordered one pound each of meat and cheese. There never seems to be a manager or anyone to help out these, what seem to be, young and brand new employees.

I don't know whether I was amazed, confused, or shocked to see that, when looking for refried beans, a food aisle sign's designation has been changed from "Mexican" to "South American." WHat is that all about? I'll try to understand that Bakers was possibly attempting to be politically correct or more inclusive or whatever. But I know for a fact that Mexico is NOT in South America and never was. I have Mexican grandchildren and I am not "offended" in the least by calling Mexican food and food stuffs, Mexican. Labeling signs "Ethnic Foods" presents a whole new set of possibilities and problems. What ethnicity? And will they all be in one huge aisle to avoid playing "Seek and Find"? Chinese, Japanese, Indian (native American or east India?, German, Swedish, Italian, Greek...I'll stop now. Seriously, rethink this change. Now.

The pharmacists, pharm techs, and other staff at Baker’s Pharmacy have always been helpful and friendly with all my prescriptions! They also have helped me understand my medications well and taught me ways to save money on my prescriptions. 10/10 would recommend!
