Alstead ensures that its staff caters to the needs of all players, from high handicappers to single-digit handicappers. Comprehensive: The service is comprehensive with knowledge of all options. The fitting starts with uiu hitting your club performance, then they move on to all the options in the store. The team takes a comprehensive approach where you hit your clubs 1st and then the ones you want to test. Second, they break down all the numbers and what works and where you have room for improvement. They have a great range of products so you will have all your options filled and leave more knowledgeable with a great set of options when you get your fitting. Pro tip: For your master Fitter, I highly recommend asking for Joey. He is truly excellent and very helpful. Thanks Austad’s for a great experience. I stopped in the W. Maple store for the first time looking at putters. The Staff was attentive yet gave me the space to try several options. I found the perfect putter and couldn’t be happier. Definitely going back!

The excellent knowledge provided by Matt led me to the correct purchase of a much needed club. Matt listened well, explained why and did not push me to a purchase. I will most definitely return for a future fitting when needed.

I recently went in for a driver fitting and the service was top notch. I worked with Matt, who was very helpful in finding the right club, while also being very knowledgeable about some important metrics to track on the sim. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking to get new clubs that are perfectly suited to your game.

We have shopped at the West Maple Austad’s several times in the last couple of months. I replaced my wife’s clubs. Drew Vance wad amazing to work with as he fitted me for new clubs. He was patient and answered every question I had. This will be my go to shop in the future.

Stopped by to get some golf balls ( go figure) and they had what I wanted, in addition they had the gold glove I wanted and I saw some shorts that were perfect, so I purchased those too! The guys thier were very helpful. Now if they can get me one of those Srxion hats, that would be awesome! ( it is not a standard hat) .

I run a small charity golf tournament every year and have dealt with Matt Kettler for many of our pin/raffle prizes. Matt is accommodating on more than just a sales/fitting level and has provided our organization with top notch service. Matt has assisted us with very competitive pricing and even given us his personal cell phone number for any problems that could arise (none have). I, personally had a complaint with a competing golf vendor regarding a custom golf bag which was botched. I asked Matt for his written opinion for my credit card company to review. Not only did he write a letter in support of my complaint, he rewrote it after Master Card asked him to. He didn't need to do any of this, yet he did and earned a customer for life. Visit the Maple St store in Omaha and you will see what I am talking about here. I won't shop anywhere else now.

As a beginning golfer, I was a bit intimidated to go into a specialty shop but the team at Austad's was super friendly and helpful. They took the time to ask questions about my level of experience, my budget, and what I was hoping to accomplish. I was able to find a couple great deals on some new equipment and will definitely be back in the future!

I always look forward to going to your Sioux City store. Everyone is always welcoming, friendly ,and helpful. I was recently in Omaha and stopped into the Westwood store and was helped by Ryan. You didn’t have the club I was looking for. Ryan took the time to call the Maple store and confirm they had what I was shopping for. Again, everyone was great! Thank you!

My family purchased a driver fitting for me for father's day here. When I arrived they were ready and waiting for me, very nice, super helpful. He went through several different shaft options and heads until we found the one that I hit the best and most consistent. Really a pro at giving me the info I needed to make a decision. Just a couple things I didn't enjoy, the first is the several times I was offered a beer, it wasn't a social visit and seemed out of place. And my wife was told that the fee for the fitting would be discounted if I purchased a club there, I hadn't realized that until I returned home and noticed that I was charged full price for the driver. Not wanting end on a bad note, he also switched out the grips for me and supplied me with a head cover and tool, and I never had to wait and he was very engaging and was never preoccupied while working with me. A refreshingly easy experience and highly recommended!
