“My wife and I did the Glassblowing Workshop for Two and were blown away (pun intended)! Samuel was our instructor and he was absolutely great. He was easy to talk to, you could ask him questions, and most importantly he let us actually do a lot. He allowed us, within reason of course, to do as much of the work as we were comfortable with which was amazing. We each made a paperweight, and my wife made a vase while I made a bowl.I would definitely recommend going to Hot Shops (Crystal Forge, to be precise) to have some fun and come away with something really cool and unique. I'll definitely be scheduling something with Samuel in the future.”

“The space and programming is massively impressive. And little known fact: they are really great about recycling, composting, and using their finished compost to grow more food on-site and share freely with the community.”

“I gotta tell ya, if god has ever sent me a sign, it was to have the pleasure of meeting with Julie and Joe. My daughter is getting married in 7 days, at 4pm at Arbor Hall. Feel free to stop by for the dollar dance. I had an unusual item that I decided the night before that it would be so cool to frame it for the new couple.I did some searching and after reading so many reviews, I prayed the Lewis Art Gallery would be able to save the day for me. I sent them a lengthy comment thru their website and contacted them yesterday. Met with Julie and she was wonderful and amazing all tangled up. She showed us several samples and styles. She was not concerned at all that we probably got there about 30 minutes before they were to close after what sounded like a very busy week. Her advice was priceless! We had no clue or know how to ever do it, but she started putting fabric back gound and frames together and in less than two minutes she had a design whipped up that we agreed to. Our deadline was not a problem to her at all, she didn't even flinch.Thank you once again for making a man giving away his baby a bit more special.”

“I went here a few months ago to meet May Pang and see her photos of John Lennon, who shared a 'long weekend' with John in 1973-1975. The gallery was nice and clean and their was a lot of natural light from the front windows, which made the place look even better. This exhibit was awesome and I hope this gallery does more like it.”

“Allen is terrific. His talent at selecting framework and settings for your special pieces is remarkable. Whether you know what you want, or need direction in your decision, their service is great. The quality of work is the best. I highly recommend this business for quality custom framework.”

“It's a unique, interesting, and beautiful place in the middle of downtown Omaha. You will be walking around enjoying the old market and its unique vibe, some art, craft, and Halloween stores, and then will suddenly stumble upon this gem. It's such a cool vibe! They have some good restaurants and shops in there as well. The shops in there .ight get a little pricey, but it is worth exploring them.”

“This is a wonderful hidden gem. You would never guess it was hidden behind a block of Old Market small businesses on the North side of Howard St. I happen to personally know, Marc and Vera Mercer and had the pleasure of working for Nicolas Bonham-Carter.(Mercer Management) for years. Great family, great people and such a major part of Omaha history.”

“As a UNO student, this is an amazing gallery I have had to attend for events pertaining to my major. Very clean and spacious, with live events and food provided. While I understand it is something that they cannot control, I believe parking is the only issue I can find. Very limited parking leads to difficulty entering the gallery, especially on opening nights. Otherwise, it is a great gallery that I would recommend visiting if you want to see local artists at work.”
