What a terrible experience, truly. I swear it was like Pretty Woman where they treat you differently if you don't look like you have money to spend. Just bizarre. I came here for last minute shopping before a business trip and spent a pretty good amount of money on just a few staples for the trip. Two blouses and one pair of pants. I got home to find that they bagged the wrong pants. They were the wrong color and not even in my size. I worked with this associate for two hours and this happens. REALLY?!?!? YOU HAD ONE JOB. Of course the store is now closed, I don't have time to get the right ones before I leave.The manager is the one who bagged it and was telling me she was trying to better the store by getting shoes to sell there. Here's a start......bag what people pay for. I get mistakes happen but when I spend this much money on a single pair of dress slacks I do expect them to actually make it into the bag!!! I've had better experiences and customer service at Carter's shopping for my children! Ridiculous!Beyond peeved and will expressly deliver my disdain of the experience upon my return from my trip. Officially lost my business forever today.

I've shopped at Ann Taylor for decades. Today, my daughter shopped there, looking for her first business suit. She was very happy with her high-quality purchase, but what distinguished this store was the service. Barb and Amanda were so helpful and so knowledgeable on size, style, etc. There was a true feeling of honesty...they wanted her to look great and be happy with her purchase. I have ALWAYS known the service at AT was exceptional, and today they proved that once again.

Horrible customer service ！！！！！！！！！！I have email coupons, but the store manager said itcan’t be used ！i won’t come to this store to shop again. It’s very bad！！ 0 star rating！

Oh my word, such unfriendly and inefficient help. I came in to drop off a return from an online order. The company encourages this free mode of returns vs paying for UPS or USPS. I processed the online portion and arrived in store with my items and the .pdf on my phone. I stood in line as the second guest, while 3 employees stood behind the desk. One was finishing a transaction. She looked at me, and while we are all wearing masks, she certainly seemed pretty unfriendly. No "hello, be right with you", not that I expect that, but she also made eye contact with me about 3 times and the vibe was not welcoming. The other 2 employees just stood there. When I was next up, the lady who was working said dryly, "I need to clean the counter first." Then when she finished she said dryly, "go ahead and remove your items from the bag." No "how can I help you today?" Or "did you have items for return?" Dry. Unfriendly. No bueno. Processing my transaction was irritating. She said she never heard of this kind of thing before. I had to read to her the verbiage from my email Ann Taylor sent, and another employee said "it's just a regular return." Great. Ok, let's get this show on the road.

Wondering if the five star reviews are employees because there is no way this store deserves five stars with the exception of just the clothes. The Sales Associates are rude and snotty. I had three shirts in my hand and put them down when I saw the Associates fawning all over two old ladies that weren’t even buying but totally ignoring me. If you want good quality clothes and excellent service, go to White House in the mall. Only go into this store if you are White and over 50, then they think you have money to spend and will actually get treated well. I shop online if I want anything from Ann Taylor.

Horrible customer service from the in store manager and online store. They have the commitment and empowerment of a 17 year-old associate. I won't shop here again.

I just moved back to Omaha from Des Moines and was excited to visit my local Ann Taylor store. I walked in (not greeted) and gathered arm fulls of merchandise. I ask one of the three sales people, chatting behind the register, to start a fitting room. I started trying on garments, I could hear the sales women cheerfully helping other customers and checking to make sure everything was okay. I found several garments and walked out past clerk, sure to make eye contact. Finally as I began to walk out a lady asked if any of those items worked for me. I responded "yes. But I will order online". Hint: Service to each is what keeps customers coming back to the store! Good luck AT. Don't feel bad when the store closes. They did it to themselves.
