I need a screen repaired they said they don't do it call one of the other Ace hardware's they said it'd be a month or two so I guess Westlake Ace hardware aside from not fixing Windows also the kids there don't know nothing

. Everything (brackets, screws, screw driver, knife, fencing, etal) I was looking for Al B knew exactly where it was, if they had it. He provided insightful unbiased advice.
. If you know what you need, Al B can help you fine tune your selection.
. I have nearly always enjoyed shopping at Westlake Ace Hardware, with its great and broad selection, including boxes of screws, bolts, & nuts.
. Generally you find the nicest people in Hardware stores, and Book stores. They people who work, or shop there are engaged in positive activities.

My only gripe about this place is that I wish it was bigger (or that it was a home depot). Nothing they can control, I suppose. Otherwise, their staff is well trained and they know where stuff is.

Bought a lawnmower blade from here and figured id get it sharpened..they said $15 to just sharpen it. I’m sorry, but that’s just ripping people off. Got it sharpened at ideal hardware for $7 and I didn’t even buy the blade from them.

Bought a space heater here, never opened the box and tried returning it 7 days later with the receipt and apparently it’s against policy to return because it’s “out of season”. If it’s out of season, then why are you still selling them and have them on your shelves? You just lost my business for good.
