Update: apparently the "captain" at this clinic reports to absolutely no one. She's just allowed to willy-nilly do whatever she wants, even if it's lie and treat unethically. This arrangement of the vet at Offutt without oversight seriously needs to be reviewed.
*these jokers are not my normal vet clinic and only saw my cat on sick call. Now they are saying they have no responsibility because I dont take my cat there all the time*
I've been into the Vet clinic twice with my 3.5 year old, domestic short-haired cat, Scooter. He presented on 25 SEP with inappropriate urination outside of the litter box (very much unlike him), and our litter indicated that he had traces of blood in his urine (at the time it was not visible). The vet clinic did one test, and then called after this visit to suggest another, to which I agreed and paid for.
I was notified the following week that they put the test code in incorrectly, therefore their lab services did not actually run the second test. I was also informed it was necessary to being the cat in again (2 OCT) and make him do an additional procedure. I also had to pay a pricing difference due to this error. Mistakes happen (glad they don't care for my human kids though), and I brought him in a second time.
I didn't hear back from the clinic, so I called again today, 7 OCT and asked about getting scooter started on some meds--whether it be an antibiotic or if it was stress, some anti-anxiety meds because his urine was now presenting with a pink color, his behaviors have continued, he has started crying when he urinates, and is pulling patches of fur out of his coat. The clinic only today informed me of his test results from last week, and declined to start medication saying they'd need xrays. They also refused to schedule those xrays in the same sentence (didn't they just tell me he needs them?), citing stress (but also denying anxiety meds for him). They suggested i take him to urgent care, however this has become a chronic problem that they are just washing their hands of.
Today's issues also include:
I asked twice to speak with the veterinarian, but "Abby" would not let me. (They said this never happened, surprise, surprise)
I asked to speak to anyone else and was denied. (Also says this never happened)
I asked to schedule an appointment that they refused. (Once i filled out an ICE form, suddenly now they have appointments)
I asked about providing feedback on my experience with their clinic, and Abby said verbatim, "Well we're under public health so you can try and see what they say."
I asked to speak with any leadership to discuss this and was denied. (Also says this never happened, again not surprised)
I also called the public health office (the directions are incorrect on their website), and it just rang and rang for about 5 minutes before I hung up.
This is a time sensitive issue because Scooter's behavior is becoming destructive and disruptive, but not having the support of an empathetic vet team to actually help has made this problem significantly worse. It's like they have no care for the animal--or my experience as the paying customer. To be so dismissive on the phone when I'm just needing help is also disrespectful to the nth degree.

We absolutely LOVE the staff at Offutt Vet Clinic. They have gone above and beyond for our senior dog, Athena. We're PCSing soon and will miss having them as our primary vet. We tell everyone how amazing they are and highly recommend!

We have been using this clinic for three years now. It is tricky getting appointments if you need something very quickly. I always book my appointments out for their yearly appointments, and I’ve always succeeded in getting those scheduled 2 to 3 weeks out. The staff is always super friendly and take great care of our dogs. The facility is very clean, and they have a lot of products on hand as needed.

Terrible customer service! They performed a blood test on our dog for thyroid testing which does not require fasting then told us that he needed to come back the next day do redo the test because he was supposed to be fasting (incorrect) and then tried to charge us twice for the same test even though they told us that we would not be recharged. Then they call you on a Friday and leave a voicemail but when you try to call them right back they don’t answer and their message says they are closed Fridays due to short staffing-if you can finally get ahold of them they don’t resolve the problem and don’t call you back for 3 days-stay away! Not worth it! Do yourself a favor and go off base

If you have base access, TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! This clinic is a huge breath of fresh air. The people here absolutely love their jobs and they perform them with a passion. They are personable, hospitable, and compassionate. This is the third vet I've tried in the area and the ONLY one I actually look forward to going to. They have taken so much stress out of the process of getting our dogs ready for an overseas move. Love them.
