“Jacobo's might be the perfect, South Omaha, large-scale Bodega. It has a wide variety of products and a reasonable supply on-hand of each. The piñatas and Mexican imports definitely lend it a certain Latin authenticity, but it's the deli at the back that is the cherry on this fried ice cream sundae. We were on the hunt for some variety packs of bottled soda, but the steady stream of patrons for the quart-sized salsa containers told us we will need to make return trip!”
“Stopped in to shop while traveling through and found some great Aldi merch! I spent $450 total between merch and groceries, staff & store were great.
When I got home from my trip and reviewed my receipt I realized I was mistakenly over charged, and I live 7 hours away. I contacted Aldi with no response, so I followed up and received calls the same day from a regional manager and customer support. I was issued a e-gift card within 5 minutes! I was so impressed with how they resolved my issue. I'm a fan for life!”

“Shop here for my parents. Love the no plastic bags policy! Staff are pretty nice and this time they were quick to open 2nd lane for long line. Only off note was cashier THROWING bag of potatoes under the counter after I noticed one potato was rotten and advised I no longer wanted them.”

“I eat here 3 times a week. Never really bad as everyone seems to good a good job. But I sure notice when Tucker is working. The team seems to be in better moods and smile and laugh more! Now let's talk about the food. When Tucker preps my meal it is top notch. And even comes out a bit faster. I love 712 a local restaurant down the street but the burgers Tucker makes tops there's for a way better price. I wish I could post photos one here. Keep up the great work!!”

“I happened to lose power last night due to the storm, after a 12 hour shift this is the last thing you want to deal with. Two employees working at the first counter near the Wahlburgers restaurant helped me tremendously (both young, one dude with brown hair and a blonde girl. I regret not getting their names!! They were both behind the first food station at 10 pm 7.31.24). They deserve a raise lol!
This Hy-Vee is also always stacked with options, they already got pumpkin spice stuff which is an automatic 5 stars. Was in and out within a few minutes, walmart or target can neverrrr”

“I really like this little hole-in-the-wall shop. You can find almost anything here. The only issue is that the store is small and is crammed with merchandise in every nook and cranny. It can be dusty, and when new merchandise arrives, it will appear to be disorganized. The owner is a very lovely woman and is extremely knowledgeable with all of the merchandise. They appear to cater more for Korean & Japanese fare, but Filipino, Indian & Chinese items are readily available.”
“Very good store, I just bought some menudo and panalito from there and pata, very authentic enough it reminds me of home back in California. “Great little store! I appreciate being able to buy items we need but a bit closer to home. They have some decent produce for typical Mexican food, variety of tortillas and tostadas, etc. The ladies who run the store are always friendly. Check it out!”

“This restaurant goes by a few names Gurungbrothers / Druk LCAs but is absolutely excellent. Had the chicken and veggie momos accompanied by the soup. Lots of flavor and homemade dumplings (including the dough which is the perfect consistency). Decor could be spruced up a bit but you come here for the food not the ambiance. Definitely a hole in the wall worth exploring!”

“I shop at the Commissary for a number of reason's. First, everyone working there is friendly and helpful. Plus they have everything I want and if they don't you simply ask for it and if they don't have it they will order it for you. Can't beat that. When you're done shopping you have the choice of options for checkout. Full service, where you can have them check and bag your stuff for you, and I believe you can even lead them to your vehicle and they will load it into your car for you. A tip is expected to the bagger for this service but not required. Or self-service where you can scan it, bag it and take it out yourself, which is what most people today do. Either way is a good deal, plus your on base which is generally a safer environment.”
