The room was clean at first glance, but I kept discovering things like stickiness on the side of a table, a tissue that had fallen and gotten stock on a light plug, etc. Staff smoking outside near the entrance was kind of off-putting. The air conditioner started making really loud noises at bedtime and kept us awake. When I told the person at checkout, she just said, "okay."

Booked through Expedia and it was listed as being in Kearney but it wasn't, it was an hour away. They refused to give me a refund until I filed a claim with my bank.

I would like to add .... it isn't loud. I slept like a baby, the review saying it's loud and doors slamming, etc... the person literally has a negative review at every hotel he's stayed in complaining of noise, get some ear plugs, dude! Also if you book thru 3rd party expect a hiccup and it's not the hotels fault I've stopped booking thru 3rd parties bc I have been screwed over by 3rd parties multiple times no fault of the hotels I've stayed at

Attempted to check in and found that my reservation had been canceled with no explanation. Was able to check into another room but was charged a higher rate than it originally booked. Zero help from guest services and zero care that I was charged twice. Manager what is finally able to confirm that I would be refunded but it could take 15 days to see a refund. Rooms were dirty with pet hair. Unwelcoming staff overall

Would you like to listen to slamming doors all day or night? That's what you'll hear at this hotel. It isn't people slamming doors though. It seems there's a major design flaw in these doors. The doors are extremely heavy. They're so heavy the soft door closers can't slow them down. It sounds like somebody is kicking a door every time a door closes here. Nobody's kicking them or slamming them though. It's the design of their doors and it's as if they're about to knock the frames out of the walls when they close. So far I've come across two card swipers that fell apart because the doors slam so hard. I've tried to be considerate and hold my hand on the door to get it to close soft. Unfortunately these are also the loudest latches I've ever seen in a door. The spring inside is so strong you simply cannot close these doors quietly even if you tried. The individuals responsible for choosing these doors & latches clearly forgot this was a hotel and there were going to be people trying to sleep here.
I've stayed here about a dozen times for work and it's the same everywhere on every floor. It's a clean place with comfortable beds but that's just the bare minimum a hotel should provide. I'm curious what it would cost to fix every single door because that's what's required to eliminate this unfortunate problem here.

Pet friendly! We had our large Golden Retriever with us. The pet fee was $35/night. Comfortable accommodations and very quiet. Complimentary breakfast included.
Location is away from the town proper and easy to locate off of I-80.

We had a great stay at this comfort inn location! The front desk ladies were a joy, very nice to our family, especially the kids. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was clean with plenty of towels and great water temperature. I would definitely book a room here again!

This hotel was dirty and had a bad smell when we reached the 3rd floor where we stayed for the night. It smelled of wet dirty carpet. The room we stayed in had a king sized bed with a pull out sofa. The sofa was worn and dirty. It's time to replace furniture when your guests don't want to sit on the furniture. The mattress for the pull out sofa was so thin, my six year old son had a terrible night's sleep on it. He shifted a lot over night and told me he didn't like the bed.
The bathroom was so dirty. It looked like it never had a deep clean and was in desperate need for one. The caulking around the shower was yellowed and oranged in color. The floor of the shower was yellow and could have used a good cleaning with some Scrubbing Bubbles or any other high powered cleaner. The frame around the shower looked like it had a poop stain smeared along the wood. The shower door had water stains all over it. It needed at least four rounds of a good vinegar rinse and scrub. It was the grossest bathroom I've used in a hotel.
The hotel also knew we were a party of four, but only supplied us with two sets of towels. We had to go to the desk for more. The best thing about the hotel was the morning breakfast. The food was good, but could have used faster refills for their hot foods, yogurt, and juice station. I would not stay here again.

Based off the North Platte location:
I think it's extremely rude and unprofessional for the staff to be eating the customers free breakfast. 3 staff members just got mad at us, PAYING customers, bc they had to wait in line. Why are they even eating? Staff should not be eating the free breakfast and if comfort inn permits this then it should be employees eating before or after the PAYING customers. (I have gone to breakfast 3 out of my 7 day stay and there was nothing left, if the entire crew is eating before guests, then that explains why) Not okay. This is their job. Not their house.
On top of all the other issues I had with my room and neighbors, I will not be back here.

Best Comfort Inn ever

This Comfort Inn is in a great location with quick access to I-80. The rooms are very nice and spacious with options for kitchenettes or suites. Service is good, breakfast is as expected for Comfort Inns. Their coffee is better than most of the other locations.
I only have two complaints. For some reason my bed was sloped to the side. I turned sideways with my head on the high side and feet at the low end. It wasn't ideal but it worked. The other complaint was listening to staff at 11 pm loudly yacking at the front entrance. I briefly considered dowsing them with ice cold water to motivate them to move. So, my advice to you is get a room away from the front entrance or bring your ear plugs.
