“Gas prices are usually a little less than others around. Usually busy. Receipt paper is frequently out so attendants need to pay attention to that. Do not carry non etoh regular gas.”

“I have been to Sam's before, but I went to the location on N 27th the first time. I haven't been there for over 10 years. Wednesday (Dec 20) was my first visit to this location. I purchased my membership online, and I am still waiting for a card to show up in the mail. I already have the digital version with the smartphone app. What really pushed me to sign up this year was a combination of wanting cheaper gas and Costco not accepting anything but Visa (which I do not have). So Sam's won me over simply by accepting Mastercard when Costco wouldn't. Right now, Sam's is over 60 cents cheaper than Hy-Vee fuel. Wow! It's very easy to pay at the pump if you have a smartphone. Just enter the credit card credentials and scan the QR code displayed at the pump. You also get a digital receipt e-mailed to you when you are done. I was blown away by how cheap the gas is, and I am wishing I had joined sooner. I could have used this kind of savings when gas got to $3.77 in most places. However, I don't recommend getting gas when I did. It was a zoo. Try earlier than 4 PM or later than 6 PM. As for the store, I went in for a few minutes to look around. I didn't buy anything. My initial impressions were 1) The store didn't look as nice as Costco. It looked more like a warehouse. I guess that doesn't matter as long as the products are of good quality. 2) They need more people checking customer's receipts as they leave the store. There was a long line that wasn't moving very fast. My conclusion is it's worth it to get the cheaper membership even if you only buy gas at Sam's.”

“Great place to get gas... And usually cheaper than any other place in town. The only drawback is the inconsiderate customers that have to drive through the lines going the wrong direction.”

“I'm such a fan I have my travel plans wrapped around costco availability. Today it's just gas but we have an old RV that consumes egregious amounts of gas on a long road trip. This trip alone our average savings at Costco buys two gallons of fuel per tank. That's huge fir our retirement income in todays economy. Clean restrooms and super ready to eat foods make this camper very happy and healthier!”

“I had a great experience at Costco Optical here in Lincoln. I truly felt cared for. Dr. Heidi did a great job at taking my case and looking into the root cause behind my pain. Within 3 weeks I felt like a new person due to Dr. Heidi's care!!”

“I headed to Costco because I had been thinking about joining for several years. Today, I thought, was the day. For some reason, I thought membership cost $100. The Goldstar membership is only $60. It's the executive membership that's $120. One of the things I looked for when I entered the store was the price of fuel. I couldn't find a sign with the prices. However, an employee at the membership counter told me that their fuel price is only $2.41 per gallon. At Hy-Vee, it's $3.09! Wow! I found out you don't have to be a member to look around the store or to go to the food court. That's nice! I took the opportunity to look around. I found several things I put on my mental list of things I might buy in the future. I also enjoyed their food sample stations. They have several of them spread around the store. I saw a wide range of products from TVs, Bose headphones, chairs, a grocery store section, and plenty of snacks. Oh, I could get into trouble with all the snacks they sell here. I was disappointed when I found out their optical center doesn't work with the company I have for vision insurance which is Eye Med. It is worth mentioning that the reason I wanted a Costco membership instead of a Sam's membership is Costco has a reputation for paying and treating their employee much better. After taking a good look around, I walked back to the membership counter to buy a membership. The woman who helped me gave me a lot of helpful information, and I could tell she really wanted me to sign up for the Executive membership. She also encouraged me to sign up for a Costco Visa credit card. I said I was interested in the Goldstar membership. As she was taking my information, I asked if Costco takes Apple Pay. She said, "Only if it's linked to a Visa credit or debit card." And that's why I am giving Costco 4 stars instead of 5. I have never heard of a store that won't take Mastercard. That's all I have, and I refuse to carry cash. I ended up walking out of the store with nothing because of that policy. Maybe one day I will have a Visa card. Until then, I can't shop at Costco. Their loss.”

“This Sam's Club has the best and most attentive Tire and Battery staff. They graciously found work around Solutions for a problem that wasn't of their creation, and provided extremely courteous service. I commend the staff there for talking to me about my vehicle like I was an intelligent person capable of understanding the concerns with my vehicle.”

“I went to the pharmacy recently to get my fall flu shot & Lee took excellent care of me. Even though I knew my insurance wouldn't cover the shot, he still took the time see if he could save me money by not paying out of pocket. I appreciated that he took the extra effort to make sure I was receiving the best care possible!”
