I appreciate how the owner double checked ingredients in a candle when I had a new allergic reaction. This was so helpful, and I really appreciated how she wasn't defensive (about something neither of us could have controlled). My experience (especially as a disabled person) is that it's difficult to find small business owners who are this approachable without taking offense.

This place smells so dreamy. They have some of the best quality candles around, and their candle lab makes for such a unique experience. Among their classic scents, I love The Traveler; and among their seasonal scents, I love pampas grass. ? Super excited for their Winter Market again in December.

Staff is very helpful and friendly! Candles are great, although a bit pricey but you are paying for quality handcrafted goods so it is worth it!

This place is a huge disappointment. The candle scent options are super limited, and only one scent can be used so seems like wasted opportunity. The candles themselves have an option for the color of vessel, but otherwise lacks any real choices. And to top it all off, the candles smell fantastic when not lit, but when lit, they actually don't have any real scent. I'm sure this is fun for families and groups, but to be honest, it's a waste of money. We will not be returning to Wax Buffalo.

Super disappointed. Almost no scent at all. I expected much more for the price, I got a candle from this company a few years back at a market type deal in Omaha and loved it. This one was a let down.

There truly is not a better place in Lincoln! The most welcoming people, the best candles, and amazingly curated products from small shops all over the world! If you don't stop at Wax Buffalo when you're in Lincoln, you're truly missing out!

This was such a fun experience! A different take on make your own candles. I've been places where you pick the oils and they pour the wax, here you pick from eight premixed scents and then melt and pour the wax yourself into the vessel you picked. Flat cost for, no matter which candle you pick. Very fun experience!
