Our daughter Elowyn went to the UNL children’s center since she was 8 weeks- 18 months old. We were in nursery 1, nursery 2 and then yellow pre-toddler. Ella absolutely thrived here. Every teacher she had was phenomenal and cared deeply for our girl. We knew she was in the very best hands! They took so many photos, did fun activities and were always quick to call and inform parents if an incident happened. The only reason we left was because we moved to a different state. It was heartbreaking to move to a new daycare. I can’t recommend this daycare highly enough! The staff truly care about each kiddo and give them so much love! ❤️

The staff that works here goes above and beyond to make sure the children are safe and happy. I wouldn’t want my daughter anywhere else.

Honestly, I guess the experience is differs by classroom. When my kiddo was in the pre-toddler room, he enjoyed a lot. Ms. Victoria was awesome and took excellent care of my kid and others. My son also received a very good farewell when we had to withdraw him for some family reasons. Then, we enrolled him again after 2 months. This time he was put in the Yellow Toddler room. Teachers in the room were very careless. Too much of scratching and fighting would take place every now and then, but the teachers would act as if they were helpless. My son was scratched by another kid right beneath the eye, and the scar now will stick forever. We asked the teachers to protect him from such incidents, but things never changed. There were reports of him being bitten and scratched on a regular basis. Even after numerous requests, the teachers couldn't do anything. We finally decided to withdraw him and on his last day, there was no farewell; in fact, he came back home with yet another bite mark on his wrist. In short, if you want your child to be safe, you don't want him/her to be in the YELLOW TODDLER room.

As a parent international student, UNL Children's Center had been a family for my babygirl (Yara). The environment is welcoming and safe. The faculty are kind and warm hearted.
