Meagan is a magician.A little backstory here... I brought in my 8 month old border collie for his first experience with a dog groomer (mine too). Bandit isn't your typical dog. He is a tornado of energy in a 45lb body, liable to burst at any moment. He's a fierce attack puppy. He's also a free range farm dog who knows how to discover trouble. He's wild, basically a step or two short of being a coyote. I never imagined bringing him to a professional groomer but he's my best friend and deserves the best.I was scared for Bandit, myself, and Meagan when I dropped him off. I was sure she'd hate us both after dealing with the fierce attack wolf. Somehow, Meagan was able to tame Bandit long enough to make him the most handsome dog in at least a 650 mile radius (Bandit deserves some credit for being naturally handsome). I can't keep him sitting still for a minute. I don't know how she was able to get him washed and brushed.She's got talent, magic, or both. Bandit smelled great, looked amazing, and was a happy boy. His best dog friend Riley gave her seal of approval when we went to visit her (Bandit is on the right, looking scared). We're extremely happy and excited for our next trip. Bandit refuses to go anywhere else!

Meagan is an amazing groomer and such a kind, caring person! She took her time with my dog who is very scared of getting groomed. Meagan talked me through the whole process and she made sure my dog was comfortable, happy, and relaxed. We will definitely be coming back!

We love the sunshine dog spa! It's so convenient (location wise), clean, and my pup loves it there. Megan does a fabulous job as well. She is very professional and she is always ready when we show up at our appointment time and she's done within a few hours. Our new fav place!!! Also, you can book online, super convenient! We will keep coming back!

My Havanese had her first grooming appointment at Sunshine Dog Spa today, and we are both very happy! I have been wanting to find a groomer who treats my pup like family and with respect, who has experience and knows how to take care of long-haired breeds. Meagan met this expectation and more. I was nervous to drop my pup off somewhere unfamiliar, but she was in a much better mood when I picked her up than she usually is after grooming appointments so I know she approves, too!

Meagan was wonderful! Very patient, and kind, and got all the toenails!While I was getting us started to check in, a client came in to pick up their dog (such a cutie that one was, the dog I mean) and I was asked very politely if I was ok if they could finish their transaction first (I totally was, gave me time to calm down Shy). Meagan didn't rush their check out, followed up with the owner of their dogs' experience, and closed their interaction with grace and thankfulness. I appreciate that. Giving each client time and respect. I support (and miss!) that kind of customer service.My Jack Russel mix is very protective of her paws (ever since her back toe was removed, that's a-whole-nother story) and so places I've gone to in the past either give up half way through and skip most of the nails, or they rush it and nick the quicks. Meagan didn't. She took time with Shy, talking to her, praising her as they went, and during our follow up, Meagan told me about her process to make it more pleasant for Shy. She didn't yelp or holler out, so Meagan was gentle with her.This was Shy's first time with Meagan and she was nervous, but I think as we come here more, she'll relax and know Meagan will take care her.I will come here again. Best experience I've had taking my baby girl to get her nails done (and best experience Shy has had too!)Thanks, Meagan!-Stephanie

This is the only place I'll take our dog for her grooming needs. Meagan does a wonderful job and our dog is excited when she goes to get a bath and nail trim. Meagan does extra little things that show she cares about all the dog that come through her door. I'm happy to have such a great place so close to home!
