Got in on seasonal clearance with some large discounts plus they had a coupon for an extra percentage off with or without your JCP credit card.Clerks were very friendly.I like this store.

Had the toddler coats we needed at foster care closet at a great price!! Many of the coats had the incorrect price tags and had to be taken off of my receipt as they weren't part of the promotion despite having identical price tags as those that were included. Super nice cashier!

We found what we needed for a funeral, but they left the security tag on the suit jacket. Thanks to Internet videos, we were able to remove it in time for the early morning funeral.

I've always loved JCPenney. Good variety of merch, good quality, good prices. When my daughter or I have needed a dress for a special occasion, I've always found what we need and like at Penney's, often times on the clearance rack too! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is that they've quit offering some of the brands of clothing I liked, and overall they've reduced a lot of inventory selection. Also, they've closed all but one women's fitting room (there used to be at least 3) so now it's inconvenient to try on clothing, and there is often a wait to even get a fitting room. I wish they'd re-open at least one of the others.

Had my leg sliced open trying on Levis that was missing the back of the theft protection device. OUCH!They didn't even get me something to clean the blood off my leg. I left there feeling like it was my fault. That is so wrong

Cheryl, helped me upIn the woman’s department today. She was so very nice. Really made sure I got the best price available. She also checked a dress I liked but said it wasn’t on sale but found one that was similar that was. Told me how to check on line. Who does that anymore,…going beyond ! Horrible experience. Went shopping for clothes. There was a table of jeans with one sign directly in center of table saying $19.99. Spent an hour finding one's I wanted and trying them on went to pay and they said the jeans I had we $37. I questioned it and they insisted the sale didn't apply to those jeans. I told them that is misleading and false advertising. They flat didn't care. I went through with rest of items and asked them to make sure I get the 25% off for using Penny's card. Once sale was done, they put receipt in bag and went to help someone else. I immediately checked the receipt bc it seemed high. Sure enough no 25% discount was applied. So I told her and she ripped the bag from my hands and dumped all the clothes onto the counter, some falling to floor. Canceled last sale and started ringing them up again. I asked what I did to deserve to be treated this way, and she said I was the one creating a head for her. Sad thing was she was the store manager. Horrible service from the very one who is suppose to set the example for the employees around her.

I purchased a gift certificate for my daughter and the sales clerk acted as if I was wasting her time. What…no commission on gift cards? Jeez!

So I've gone here a few times recently and at the other location in Lincoln. I like that they're more honest here and (most) employees let me know if they don't know information about products, store policies, etc. I've gotten a lot of help here. However, there was a girl that worked there and I asked if I could return a product bought at the stand-alone Sephora location and she just kept interrupting to tell me that they don't, even though I have made a return there before with a product from a stand-alone Sephora. Just blatantly cut me off what I tried explaining to her and ignored my questions. Even if it wasn't allowed, I would have appreciated a polite response and not rudeness. Hopefully I don't need to see an employee like that here again.
