I went into Scheels and was racially profiled today when I came to pick up my firearm that I purchase online.
Andrew at the store was INSINUATING me of purchasing firearms for others and claimed someone heard me speaking of firearms and money on the phone which is a complete lie. I don’t care how many firearms I buy it’s my right to legally carry and I don’t purchase firearms for other people .. never have!
I will gladly take my black dollar elsewhere. Like I asked him when I was there do you ask everyone these questions! The obvious answer was no. He just lied about this phone call, if that’s the case why didn’t he refuse the sale? Oh yeah because it never happened.

I was shopping for shoes for my mom and a lovely lady by the name of Jennie was extremely resourceful knowledgeable and helpful to get our needs taken care of! It's because of excellent customer service like this that we chose and will continue to choose this Scheels location! Keep up the great work Jennie ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you haven't tried Ginna's Cafe yet, you really need to go. The food is amazing - great variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups and homemade pizzas to fill you up. The staff is always helpful with deciding your choices. They also have coffee drinks like Starbucks, roasted almonds and cashews, amazing fudge in so many flavors and many flavors of jerky. So many delicious choices tucked in to the eastern side of the store by the big children's slide. A must try for a reasonable price?

I had previously given this store a 5-star, but I wanted to take a moment to reiterate just how awesome Scheels really is. Each department is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but recently I had a beyond fantastic experience with the bicycle department.
Jason Peterson, an associate in this department, went above and beyond to assist me in understanding the concerns I had with my new mountain bike. I hadn't even purchased my bike at Scheels, just used them for my bike shop needs. Not only was Jason attentive and obviously extremely in-the-know about all things bicycling, he was kind enough to take the time to show and explain to me what the issue was and how he was correcting it. He spoke to me about the tools being used, about how they're used and what the correction would result in for me.
When the original fix didn't work he quickly and diligently continued to triage my bicycle until he discovered the issue - an incorrectly implemented quick-clip on my chain that I had done myself.
Throughout my experience there at Scheels I was impressed by Jason's courtesy, honesty and want to engage. Like I said, he didn't just fix, he taught. You can't find that kind of service in many places, sometimes not even in a local bike shop.

We really enjoy Scheels, the kids play area is nice, great taxidermy animal display upstairs, giant Ferris wheel, and a great selection of Nebraska gear among everything else sports related.
