We went in just to browse and ended up finding some treats and a cookie for our dog. Our dog was so excited to get a treat from the wonderful staff. “I got my dog a Bundt cake and a collection of cupcakes here for his birthday. Staff were friendly, helpful, and patient while I took my time to decide what to get. Apparently they bring the larger birthday cakes to restock the case on Thursdays (or you can order ahead), so I didn’t get one. But my boy was still beyond happy with the many smaller cakes he got from here. :) it was slightly more expensive than I anticipated, but worth it for my best friends birthday! (I added the candle to the cake from my own decorations)”

“Sooo handy to have just a few blocks away. Yes, the Mega stores are just a few miles away....but these smaller stores have much more attentive staff and just feel more neighborly. Had a backup door key made for my car, did not need to have the chip it is as it was just going to be for the door...I have a horrible habit of locking the keys inside the vehicle and my car is not new enough to be smarter than I am. They cut the key and it worked great. Thank you!”

“While I live in north LIncoln, I've been shopping at the south store because of the dog supplies. We said good-bye to our senior dogs in the past two years. However, we adopted a new fur kid who enjoys her chews, toys and treats so I've been exploring what seems like a growing dog section at Arnie's. I was buying dog food from a national chain with a location not far from my home. A few weeks ago, my husband forgot to tell me we were low on food. So when I checked the chain's website, both stores said they were out of the food in the size I buy. Google said Arnie's carried the food. I called to check that it was in-stock, yes and coincidentally same price as chain store. I was excited to pick up a bag before the store closed. Two days later, when husband was out of town, I got the opened bag out and noticed the kibble was not the same. It was puppy food. The vet had told us not to feed her puppy food because it was higher in calories. So I went to the store to buy a bag of dog food. I asked to check the bag as the man picked it up from the shelf to take to the counter. When I explained why, Katie said they would exchange the bag that I had gotten in error. She wanted us to be happy with the purchase. I mentioned I lived closer to the north store and she said if I give them a day or two notice, they will bring the food to the north location where I can buy it. She also mentioned they have a frequent food buyer's program. Yes, I signed up! The following day, I returned the opened puppy food to the north store. And I'm picking up another bag of dog food at the north store. While it's more convenient, I miss looking at the dog chews and toys. Because you can never have too many with a young german shepherd.”

“Matt at Yankee Hill store (soon to be in York) is awesome! I had an issue ordering 1 40lb bag of bird seed with all of my earned rewards, it drug on for over 3 days! No one (at the call center) could seem to (or want to) get this taken care of! I called my local store on Yankee Hill, Matt and Rhonda came to my rescue.!!! Rhonda called the call center to have them call me to get my order, my order was delivered to the clubhouse instead of my villa. I am disabled, so I called the store. Matt said he would try to get it to me. I looked out my window 15 minutes later, and he was pulling up in my driveway!!!! The York store is very lucky! The customer care Matt displayed today is unheard of anymore, I just can't say enough to express how thankful I am. Matt is a great guy and his customers will love him! Thank you so much Matt and Rhonda!”

“Best service of any hardware store in town. I love this place, & the guys there are always really helpful, but don't hover. I'm not exactly what you'd call a handyman, but they never make me feel stupid. They have helpful advice, & I always try to patronize them over one of the big box stores like Home Depot when I can. When I had a key made, the manager did it himself. He was worried he didn't get it just right, so he gave me all 4 copies for the price of one. All 4 worked. They also offer more than you'd expect in the way of rentals. “I learned that a person has to go beyond the $5 mark of cost to use the petco money from the membership ? I chose 3 treat bags for the dogs and figured the 13.58 that was the cost of 2 bags that would give me the 3rd free w/ tax my thoughts were about $15. I was asked for the $4 and as I said to the cashier; I am not complaining about $4 for 3 bags of treats but my figuring left me owing change. Consequently I only was allowed to use 2 of the soon to expire credit vouchers. I ended up using the 3rd on some urine cleaning solution for the carpet ??? I am ok with that, but that register find was kinda costly; but something useful. The cashier was pleasant and patient while I used the credit that I didn't want to lose to expiration. ?”

“Used the Vetco today and they had great customer service. They helped my kitten. I have no complaints. Besides I hate spending such large amounts of money. Nonetheless, they gave me options and gave me space to let them know what I would be able to afford without pressuring or hovering me. They didnt make me feel guilty for not getting xrays. They did their best to make my cat better and me comfortable.”

“Finally!!! I been hunting puppies for over a month and everywhere/everyone has nothing available. I've been calling here once a week and they have had a shortage due to CV 19 and everyone is adopting puppies while they are home. I'm concerned about what happens after everyone goes back to work.Anyways, we'd lost our fur baby of 13 years. So on spur of the moment today I stopped in. There was a nice selection and we now have 2 new babies. Yes, this will be their forever home until God calls them home. Hopefully 12-20 years from now.They were clean, playful and staff were very patient with me.( I had to play with them all). **They have a play donation jar, if you want to go play with them, to help cover misc costs** I didn't know that you could just go to play if you need a quick puppy fix. Love the idea.They also loaned me a carrier (I have several) which we are taking back tomorrow. I really didn't plan on stopping in, so hadn't brought any.Thank you ladies ❤️I would recommend using the play option if you aren't ABSOLUTELY sure you can keep your babies when going back to work/school.!!!!13 years ago I also had gotten my baby from here. It was in excellent health and problems developed later in life were not a result of puppy mill breeding. We did try all rescue places in 3 states to no avail. All that was available were large dogs, even up to 8 years old.”

One of my favorite things is that they provide a great area for me to bathe my dog. It's clean, open and airy, and they have everything I need right there! They also do a wonderful job of grooming. My fur baby isn't fond of having his nails done and they are so patient with him! I really appreciate the people at Pet Central Station!!”
