“Staff are friendly and helpful. The self service dog wash is fantastic! They have tons of treats to pick from. I just wish the bakery cookies had labels I don't know where they are made or what the ingredients are. My rescue dog doesn't have food allergies but I like to know what ingredients are in food & or treats.”

“Small store so he won't always have the fish you are looking for but will almost always have the best prices in town on fresh water fish. Look past the older equipment and "dirty" looking tanks and you see generally very healthy fish and knowledgeable staff who are happy to answer questions or just talk fish with you.Attached is a picture of one of my Blue Acara that I bought at Fish World.”

“Sooo handy to have just a few blocks away. Yes, the Mega stores are just a few miles away....but these smaller stores have much more attentive staff and just feel more neighborly. Had a backup door key made for my car, did not need to have the chip it is as it was just going to be for the door...I have a horrible habit of locking the keys inside the vehicle and my car is not new enough to be smarter than I am. They cut the key and it worked great. Thank you!”
“You know you're in a place that loves what they do when they see your dog walking in and yell "Hey Merle, we're glad you're here." Took the jitters right out of him and he's enjoyed the stay each time. (he doesn't talk, but I can tell by his countenance when I pick him up)”
“We took our 1st Shih Tzu and take our 2nd Shih Tzu and rescue Yorkie Terrier mix to Donita and her grooming business and we have absolutely enjoyed having her groom all of canines ans can't think of any other place to get them groomed”

“While I live in north LIncoln, I've been shopping at the south store because of the dog supplies. We said good-bye to our senior dogs in the past two years. However, we adopted a new fur kid who enjoys her chews, toys and treats so I've been exploring what seems like a growing dog section at Arnie's. I was buying dog food from a national chain with a location not far from my home. A few weeks ago, my husband forgot to tell me we were low on food. So when I checked the chain's website, both stores said they were out of the food in the size I buy. Google said Arnie's carried the food. I called to check that it was in-stock, yes and coincidentally same price as chain store. I was excited to pick up a bag before the store closed. Two days later, when husband was out of town, I got the opened bag out and noticed the kibble was not the same. It was puppy food. The vet had told us not to feed her puppy food because it was higher in calories. So I went to the store to buy a bag of dog food. I asked to check the bag as the man picked it up from the shelf to take to the counter. When I explained why, Katie said they would exchange the bag that I had gotten in error. She wanted us to be happy with the purchase. I mentioned I lived closer to the north store and she said if I give them a day or two notice, they will bring the food to the north location where I can buy it. She also mentioned they have a frequent food buyer's program. Yes, I signed up! The following day, I returned the opened puppy food to the north store. And I'm picking up another bag of dog food at the north store. While it's more convenient, I miss looking at the dog chews and toys. Because you can never have too many with a young german shepherd.”
“Matt at Yankee Hill store (soon to be in York) is awesome! I had an issue ordering 1 40lb bag of bird seed with all of my earned rewards, it drug on for over 3 days! No one (at the call center) could seem to (or want to) get this taken care of! I called my local store on Yankee Hill, Matt and Rhonda came to my rescue.!!! Rhonda called the call center to have them call me to get my order, my order was delivered to the clubhouse instead of my villa. I am disabled, so I called the store. Matt said he would try to get it to me. I looked out my window 15 minutes later, and he was pulling up in my driveway!!!! The York store is very lucky! The customer care Matt displayed today is unheard of anymore, I just can't say enough to express how thankful I am. Matt is a great guy and his customers will love him! Thank you so much Matt and Rhonda!”

“I buy aquarium stuff for a 90g, 29g and 29g saltwater. The guys in the fish department do an excellent job. Talk to Billy, Carlos or Jacob and they will help you. The tanks are very clean, dead fish are removed quickly and I have not had a problem with their water getting into mine. I also trust that the animals I buy are in good condition coming from this store.”
“The gal that gave e our dog his recent hair cut did great job. Just one thing I wish his face was shaved a little shorter. But I also know that practice increases things like that. The second one I rated extremely likely is because I shop at Petco pretty frequently because my leapord gecko needs crickets and also because the staff working there are so nice thank u and have a blessed day!”

“Finally!!! I been hunting puppies for over a month and everywhere/everyone has nothing available. I've been calling here once a week and they have had a shortage due to CV 19 and everyone is adopting puppies while they are home. I'm concerned about what happens after everyone goes back to work.Anyways, we'd lost our fur baby of 13 years. So on spur of the moment today I stopped in. There was a nice selection and we now have 2 new babies. Yes, this will be their forever home until God calls them home. Hopefully 12-20 years from now.They were clean, playful and staff were very patient with me.( I had to play with them all). **They have a play donation jar, if you want to go play with them, to help cover misc costs** I didn't know that you could just go to play if you need a quick puppy fix. Love the idea.They also loaned me a carrier (I have several) which we are taking back tomorrow. I really didn't plan on stopping in, so hadn't brought any.Thank you ladies ❤️I would recommend using the play option if you aren't ABSOLUTELY sure you can keep your babies when going back to work/school.!!!!13 years ago I also had gotten my baby from here. It was in excellent health and problems developed later in life were not a result of puppy mill breeding. We did try all rescue places in 3 states to no avail. All that was available were large dogs, even up to 8 years old.”
