We made some things in the art section. Expected more interactive exhibits but it was accessible, it wasn't crowded and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Nice little museum. Many interactive pieces for children. The water fountain was broken and all of the hand sanitizers were empty unfortunately. Nice place to escape the heat and get a history lesson in.

Great little gem right in downtown Lincoln with a very low ticket price. They have standing exhibits and also bring in traveling exhibits, often from the Smithsonian. They have recently added a children's section to encourage interactivity for the little ones.

Great place! We had 4 year old grandson and he was fascinated. I was too! Things I didn't imagine were there and the Discovery Room was incredible! Go see it!!

The Nebraska History Museum does a great job with the different exhibits I have seen the few times I have been there. Before this weekend, my last trip to the museum was 4 years ago as a UNL undergrad. This time around, I was impressed with the extensive Lincoln history and the Bison exhibit on display right now (March 2022) as well as the Women’s Suffrage exhibit. Plan on 1-2 hours to see everything this museum has to offer.

Staff is super friendly. Probably take an hour if you read all information. Little gift shop.
