Well my son has been going to speech at Madonna for 3 years and he got discharged because his speech therapist is having a baby and will be on maternity leave . Very unprofessional I must say and so disappointing!!! If you are gonna let a child go and not want to help anymore please let the parent know ahead of time so we can look for help somewhere else. Hire more help and communicate better with the parents!!!

Long story short, go ANYWHERE else.
I don't know what happened to Madonna's fantastic reputation, but the quality of care has changed immensely. I am writing this on behalf of a family member who was a patient at this location for a little over a week. For some context, this patient was recovering from a recent, invasive brain surgery. Even in her mentally altered state, she knew her stay was miserable and requested an early discharge from the facility.
As a medical provider myself, I was truly shocked at the kind of care I was witnessing. The nurses administered too much medication (ignoring obvious signs of overdose), switched patient water bottles, threw away patient food without consent, and were not responsive to call lights. When I had to leave the facility at night (per policy) I was constantly worried for my loved one's safety. I spoke with nurse after nurse to resolve these issues (mainly the medication overdose), and was repeatedly dismissed. After expressing my concerns to another faculty member, someone from quality and risk management reached out to me. I was hopeful they would be more genuine in their response but they never even bothered to address the medication issue. They kept repeating how "sorry" they were and how they would "bring up these issues in their next meeting".
Let me be clear: the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation specialists are FANTASTIC. They do excellent work! I have no complaints about PT/OT/SLP during the stay.
There are several other rehabilitation facilities around town. Please, take my advice, and choose one of those.

You will want to make sure and look at your insurance policy. My insurance covers 100% of physical therapy but only 80% of hospital visits. So when they bill as a hospital (even though you went to a store front) they make you pay more than you should. Pretty shady if you ask me!

probably worst option In area, Doctors unmotivated & lackadaisical. Minimum effort to my brother who was shot In critical place. At home we have helped him to position were hes 20x better than when they discharged him. Thru taught him nothing & helped him now. Stood him up once. Definitely worst option

Your weekend supervisor nurse is very rude and had zero reason to have the person above her by the name of Melody in long term care threaten security just because we questioned what they have always said was ok until April decided it wasn't. Very unhappy with the treatment from staff and now I wonder how they are when we aren't around. There is a lot I have brushed off because no where is perfect, but this pushed me to write a review.

All of their OT & PT therapists are excellent. M9ost the nurses are good too.

This is the second time my loved one has been at MaDonna. Wouldn't send him anywhere else! Excellent care.

The person sitting at the front didn’t do anything except playing with her phone. She’s supposed to answer questions and help visitors navigate around the building but what she told me is that you have to find the way by yourself. Why would you guys even hire her for?

The best rehabilitation facility in Nebraska! The entire staff from the housekeeping department to the nurses and doctors who work one on one with the patients. Madonna becomes a member of the family.

This company is so discrementary in terms of hiring people. They do not care about the candidate's Skills, Level of education or anything else. They solely care about the race of the Candidate only.
