Went here two days ago, which was last Friday. First time ever here. The workers in this store seem very friendly. It's a cool store inside because you have all your shopping needs as well as food places to eat and a Caribou coffee shop. We arrived here about 8:30 am. We all got the Caribou coffee, but we bought it at the food counter instead of the actual Coffee shop. If you get at the coffee shop, you can get the fufu drinks there, which cost more. Getting the coffee at the food counter, they have a coffee and cappuccino machine, which is only $2.18 and you get free refills! So the 3 of us got coffee only and stayed here a bit. One of the guys got a huge breakfast sandwich that looked really good! One of my friends left and another came to join us. We waited until 11:00 am as that's when on Fridays only the Asian buffet is "All you care to eat!" The cost was $12.03 for this buffet. They give you big portions and I just ate two full plates, so for $6.00 per plate, it was well worth it. The food was really good and fresh. I had big noodles, thin noodles, beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken, cashew chicken, veggie & chicken egg rolls, and rangoons. We stayed here till about 2:30 pm just eating and talking. The seating area is good sized and we saw all kinds of other people coming and going, doing their own things. Nobody had any issues that we were there such a long time! The lady that worked the food counter and walked around to see if anyone needed anything was really sweet and hospitable. Overall, was a super pleasant first visit here for me! Definitely recommend eating here!!!

Had a real disappointing experience with ordering groceries for delivery from this Hy-Vee. It was my daughter's birthday and I was home sick. The next day we were having a food day at work. I was worried about how I was going to get the groceries to make my meal that I was planning on taking and I also wanted to get my daughter a bouquet of flowers for her birthday. My wife was at work but didn't have time to run to the store for me.I decided to try Hy-Vee grocery delivery for the first time. I had the order sent to my wife's work so she could bring it home. I had to pay $20 for speedy delivery because of the short notice. My order was to be delivered at 3 o'clock. Everything seemed to be fine and the groceries arrived. When my wife got home, I unloaded everything only to find that over half of my order was missing! They brought all of the cold stuff but none of the warm stuff. My daughter didn't get her flowers and I didn't have over half the ingredients for my dish. I'm also now stuck with a bunch of cold groceries that are probably going to go to waste because their only purpose was for the potluck.Took half an hour on hold to get a hold of anybody at Hy-Vee. When I finally did she went and checked and said there was a whole tote of stuff for me tag for delivery at three. It was now 730 at night. Nobody from the grocery delivery service noticed a whole tote of groceries sitting there for 4 1/2 hours past its delivery time. No one called or tried to send out the order with a second driver. They offered me a refund for the groceries we didn't get and I asked if they could refund the delivery fee too because I had paid extra for speedy delivery and they had leftover half the order making the whole thing useless. They agreed but so far I have only been reimbursed for the groceries I didn't receive. No idea if they're going to come through on the delivery. It was a giant mess, and I am very disappointed.UPDATE: the store manager reached out and had a nice conversation about what happened and made a really good effort to apologize and make things right. He was able to secure the refund for what I did not receive and also for the deliver fee (that was what I was nervous about). I appreciated his efforts and his willingness to reach out so even though the initial experience was all bad, mistakes happen and he made the absolute best he could out of it so I am bumping up the review based on that customer service.

beautiful store. however. nightmare of an employee joe called me the f slur in the middle of pride month. as he rang up my items in the liquor section, he stared me dead in the eyes and murmured this horrid word. i left in tears. such a shame that this wonderful store seemingly insists on keeping this homophobic employee. i hope joe learns tolerance.

I've been to better pharmacies. That's the long and short of it. So far they've been reliable and have been able to refill my meds within 1-3 days after I call for a refill, which is important since I can't have them refilled until I have five or less left. They also haven't sent a message saying my refill was ready without it actually being ready which is something that has happened at previous pharmacies for me. The main gripe I have with this place is that their line is so truly god awfully slow. An average of 15-25 minutes per car! All that needs to happen for me is confirm my identity, pay, then take my medication, yet somehow this 5-7 minute task takes twice as long! If this place was even a little faster then I'd probably give it 4 stars, but until then, 2 stars is as much as I'm willing to give

Worst pharmacy ever! Always have to wait even when calling ahead to confirm ready. Will be moving business to ANY OTHER PHARMACY in town. Nothing convenient about getting groceries and then having to wait for someone to put the box of pills in a paper bag

I was so disappointed in the craft beer selection. Had talked to a couple hyvee Gents at Growler Guys about it. Lead me to believe they'd have quite a selection. Not promising at all. I search for new breweries, new brews. Head to the local coffee grounds ,or growler guys.They have a better selection each week.

I placed my order at 3pm for 7-730 pickup. I receive at text stating my order was ready for pickup. While in line I receive an email stating my order was cancelled. I was already waiting 45 mins with another 10 cars in front of me. Therefore, I call the store and they tell me do to miscommunication my order was cancelled. The clerk offered me to wait or come back tomorrow, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! They just lost a loyal customer.

Always friendly staff. Good beer and wine selection. Cheese, meat and fish counters always great. I dont tend to get fresh produce there thou. It's cheaper and better quality a short walk across the street.

Good selection of beers that changes with the seasons and new releases. The mix and match section is extensive and has a good mix for all tastes.

Good selection, but not amazing- no packets of Pií±a Colada mix for example- what the heck?! The cashiers could be a little more engaging, but if you just need to run in for something, it's great- very well organized. Nice array of $1 airplane size bottles up at the front- fun to test out something new.
