Gab at Handyman Connection repaired my clogged garbage disposal the same day I talked with their company. Gab prepared the area with a heavy plastic liner and a water bucket. He was thorough and effective, opening every exit pipe under my sink until the clog was found and removed. He also did an excellent clean up job. I would recommend him to everyone.Service: Repair water fixtures

The plumber was amazing. He came on time. He was very courteous. He did his job quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up after himself. And the toilet works perfectly. I could not ask for anything more. I would unconditionally recommend him and your service to anybody who has plumbing needs

After 2 weeks since requesting service, have not yet heard back. So, since service has not yet been performed, cannot submit an informed review. High volume of work in the area determines this.

On March 15, 2022 we met with your craftsman to obtain an estimate for a remodeling job at 8340 N. Hazelwood Dr., Lincoln. After reviewing the proposal, checking the Better Business Bureau and reviews, we accepted the proposal. The craftsman verbally stated that the project would take approximately 2 weeks to complete. Project started on March 21, 2022 when we met with the craftsman at Menards to pick out different building supplies. By March 25, 2022, we started experiencing problems with this craftsman having to leave and go help on other projects. From the very beginning of the project, we have had nothing but problems with the company’s handling of our remodeling project. We spoke or texted many times with the office manager and met several times at the project with the owner Mr. Stitt expressing our concerns, the need for more than 1 craftsman, the poor workmanship and lack of common sense in handling different situations of the remodeling project. We also asked that Mr. Stitt to check on this project at least weekly to make sure things were progressing as planned. Which he never did. On June 2, 2022, during the last meeting with Mr. Stitt, again expressing our concerns and the workmanship. Then the craftsman abruptly stated he was” out of here” and you stated “we were being disrespectful” and walked out as well. The craftsman took his equipment but also before he left he proceeded to do damage to our property. You then sent another craftsman who came in and took over and we thought things were improving and moving along, however the last week before he was leaving the company we had to have him re-sand the stairs, stringer boards and ledges because he tried to cut corners and didn’t use the correct sand paper. In doing this, he damaged the stairs and we had to have the professional floor company come back in to repair/sand/stain the steps again. Our project was finally completed on January 11, 2023 almost 11 months since the project started.1. No show of the Craftsman repeatedly. We would receive text messages that the craftsman would be coming but then would receive another text message after lunch stating that their vehicle was in the shop or they hurt their back. One excuse after another.2. Craftsman pulled off of our job for other jobs requiring help.3. Craftsman leaving early to help on other jobs.4. Craftsman never on time; always arriving late and leaving early.5. Only 1 Craftsman working our project. We repeatedly requested more help.6. No regard for our personal property resulting in damages or items thrown away or unusable.7. Cutting corners/poor workmanship which resulted in project having to be redone 2 to 3 times over. “Master Craftsman” taking short cuts instead of doing it the right way the first time.8. Had to bring in a professional floor company to redo our hardware floors/stairs due to poor workmanship. Handyman did pay for this.9. Craftsman not having the equipment/supplies necessary to perform the work when they arrive at the house. Always running to Menards or Home Depot which equates to poor time management and time taken away from doing the work.10. Waste of Supplies. Containers/buckets of paint left without a cover on them.11. Using 2 different brands of paint without our permission. We stated we wanted Sherwin Williams – Urban Putty. Paint was switched when one of the Craftsman took over project to Home Depot Behr Color Match Paint. Now we are having difficulty knowing which paint was used on what wall.Services: Interior painting

I bought very expensive blinds through Handyman Connection. Jake recommended the blinds, ordered them, and installed them. He went through Lowe's. One motorized blind quit working and I went to Lowe's to get a replacement battery and no go. I called Handyman Connection for all their paperwork and they apparently lost it. I have spent hours of valuable time trying to get support, all to no avail. This was a VERY expensive mistake.I may have to buy all new blinds if I want working blinds that match. We are talking more than $2,000.Also, years ago, I had someone from Handyman Connection take out a decorative railing that divided my family room from the eat-in kitchen area. He damaged the ceiling in the basement. They did come out and "fix" the ceiling but you could still see the damage. I finally called Patch Pros and they fixed it.

I relied on Jake at Handyman Connection to choose, order and install blinds. When one quit working, I went to Lowe's where Jake ordered them to get a new battery, and the product is no longer supported. I called for the paperwork to help me, and Handyman Connection had lost part of the paperwork I needed. No support for their work.Prior experience: They removed a chair railing that divided kitchen from family room and damaged the ceiling. Sent someone out to repair the damaged ceiling and it looked terrible. They came out again and it still looked horrible. Called Patch Pros and paid to have it repaired myself.

Complete lack of communication from this company. I had to call twice to even get a confirmation for an estimate. Technician was supposed to evaluate work and give estimate on a Monday. Absolutely no word from company a full week after the evaluation was supposedly done. I contacted them a third time. Stated they would contact tech and email me estimate. Ten days later and I still have absolutely nothing about the work that needs completed. Avoid this company and find someone who actually wants the work.

They canceled on us several times, with no phone calls to us we ended up calling them to figure out what was going on????? Plus they guy they sent was supposed to have 30 year’s experience and he ended up in the first 10 minutes breaking one of are door jams. After he broke the jamb we did not hear from the company for a month ( my husband kept reaching out to them) with no response to find out if they would replace the jam. Well they are not replacing the door jamb this company is not a good one at all they are not professional at all stay away from them.Very upset!!!!!
