The manager June was horrible to me and my daughter when dropping off items. She started off sassy and was quickly then yelling at me to organize my things in her bins (ummm isn’t that your job??)but I did and didn’t say anything. She said put all the clothes in one bin and put everything else in the other. I did as she said but it was still wrong I guess. She was snapping at with a sassy tone and began yelling when I was putting wrong things in the said “everything else bin” that was when I did finally speak to tell her that she told me to do that. She yelled back that she didn’t say that and again I tried telling her that she did say that though, she said “well excuuuuussssreee me if I did, but you CANNOT put that there” in a sassy manner. I just kept my mouth shut until I left. All the while she kept huffing and puffing and being so sassy and aggressively throwing things into a different bin when I would put something in the wrong one.
A little later I called the store to put in a complaint and she picked up and said she was the manager. so I went ahead and told her that she does not have a good attitude and had no right to treat a customer like that and make me do her job. She immediately said that I was the one with the bad attitude and that I was trying to leave my donations (umm that’s the point) and how if I had done that without organizing them (never ever had to do that before) that she would’ve gotten my license plate number and given me a fine and how we would’ve had an even bigger issue. She was literally yelling at me on the phone and I had just never had this kind of experience before. I said I wanted to talk to someone higher up from her and she continued to say she does not care or give a s*** what I do. I asked for her full name but she only gave me her first name was June. She is an older lady. An eye sore if I ever saw it and with a very unpleasant personality.
My husband was reading some of the other reviews about her and it sounds like she just doesn’t care how she treats people. It’s her store so it’s her rules.
I called headquarters but no response.
I called another Lincoln goodwill and the manager there was very kind and said she would contact her boss for me and also gave me an email to contact.
I have never ever been treated like that and don’t typically wright a review like this. I hope she gets fired! I will not be going back to that store ever!

The manager of this store, June (wouldn’t disclose her last name), was very rude to my family. My 5 year old daughter was looking at toys and she started yelling at her for being away from her parents and I stepped out from the isle which was right across from her and said “I am her mom I am right here is there an issue” . June said that kids need to be supervised by their parents and I said I am right here I can see everything she is doing. There is no rule posted about parents having to be in the same isle. June said that is her own personal rule. She refused to give me any supervisor phone number or communication. She said “go ahead and tell corporate I’m being an asshole”. I told her there was no reason to be yelling at me, my husband or my daughter that I had no problem keeping my daughter right next to me it was her attitude I had an issue with. That lady has no right being a supervisor there.

I went to this Goodwill today with my 3 kids. They are 5,3,1. My 3 year old went to the toy section. I let her bc she usually finds a toy and plays with it quietly and nicely. And I had an eye on her. While I was hurrying to find clothes and get out. One lady with an attitude blond hair and bangs found me and started yelling at me loud saying “hey, you,” that I have to stay with my daughter at all times and watch her. Every body was watching me how dare I did it. She could have come to ME and tell me about it. Not necessary to be rude.

Everything is overpriced for used clothing. An old used hoodie with stains shouldn't be $15, especially for those in need.

Went in today and the woman ringing me up was having a hard time with the card reader so she asked for help from who I assume was the manager, she very loudly and rudely said that if it wasn't going through I probably didn't have enough money on my card or something of that nature. Extremely inappropriate, and wildly unprofessional especially when the issue is with the card reader not the customer.

My mother and I had the misfortune of visiting the most underwhelming Goodwill location we've encountered. The dressing rooms were inaccessible, and the restroom was suddenly closed. We carefully selected items that fit, but the staff neglected to honor the 50% discount on green-tagged items, aside from one exception. My mother then had to revisit the counter to clarify the pricing, where she encountered rudeness from the older attendant. As a corporation, Goodwill should prioritize employee training and accountability. Having visited numerous Goodwill locations during our travels, we unequivocally deem this location the worst due to its rude employees and register incompetence. In the end they did fix the pricing after seeing their error.

I stopped in shortly before closing and did actually find a couple things. It didn't have the fullest shelves though.

At first I didn’t believe the “oh don’t go there, that’s the worst Goodwill in town” nonsense that people told me; well besides from smelling like cigarettes and the random organization of the store, the person in charge of “pricing” is perhaps the rudest person on the planet. It’s customer service, not ignore the customer and use some half brained logic on them! Seriously, save yourself some time/headache and go to the one off O St or the Appleway one in South Lincoln.

Update: from two stars to five!
I went in this morning. Everything was organized and easy to find. Not over crowed racks. Stuff was hung correctly. The lady at the front the cashier was very helpful and friendly. She is a hard worker and did a great job assisting me. They allowed my to use a clean bathroom. Also a gentleman who works there with a mustache, he too was very helpful. Tons of wonderful items priced very reasonably. Favorite spot; will come here often!!
Highly recommend.
Old review:
Stuff was a bit overpriced, and it was a mess in there. I would probably not shop at this location again. I had to pee and they denied me toilet access, so that always is a negative for me. I mean I bought items, but they said to go to Applebee's. I should have left everything and left, but I could hold it. But yeah, store was messy. Too many other Goodwills to shop at, will put this place on bottom of to go again to list.

Since the Salvation Army was no longer accepting furniture donations physically in Lincoln, the Goodwill was the next best choice. Without posted signs, you just have to guess at driving towards the back and see an open garage door open. This is where we walked inside and had to get someone's attention to help unload a few end tables and TV stand. The store looks really messy and unorganized but I'm just glad we didn't have to leave decent furniture in the dumpster. I know they will find good use for the furniture donated today.

Zero stars. June, the manager, thought it would be a good idea (today June 9th) to make my 30 week pregnant wife cry because she wouldn't accept a return. There was no sticker on any of the items saying no returns, no wording on the receipt no returns, and the employee that made the $172 sale mentioned nothing about no returns. June embarrassed my wife in front of a crowd of people by speaking down to her and waving her hands around and snapping at her, made my 7 year old son run and hide, and hung up on me when I confronted her over the phone. Goodwill wake up if you're reading this, fire June. In June if you're reading this; you're a real terrible person and I wish you nothing but sadness for making my wife and child feel less than human.
