Ehlers goes above and beyond to make my vet visits comfortable for my 2 dogs. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Our little Penny neeed major dental surgery. It's been a couple days now and her recovery is going well. That is my barometer for their work. She has started eating soft food and playing like her oldself. The care they provide is genuine and meaningful which is welcome when you leave your special pet in their care.

My experience with Ehlers was absolutely amazing. My cat has been dealing with pain since last fall, and it felt like nothing was healing him. I made a consultation with Ehlers and was expecting the consultation to only last 30 minutes max. However, Dr. Sintek was extremely thorough. My cat warmed up to her and her vet tech (which is abnormal for him). Dr. Sintek recommended surgery for my cat. The process was great. She communicated her decisions, which I appreciated because I tend to be a hovering cat mom. The rest of the staff at Ehlers were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend going to Ehlers if you are looking for quality and thorough examinations from a friendly and compassionate staff!!!!

My precious Bartley passed 8/8 and Dr. Ehlers was the last veterinarian he saw just like she was the first to see him when he was in need of urgent care years ago.
I just took my new buddy, Sean, in and continued a tradition of Dr. Ehlers being the veterinarian he starts with.
Her caring and dedication to caring for our most precious companions doesn't stop there. Her compassion for my sad experience with Bartley's demise and subsequently her joy at my bringing in a new precious puppy is something that is not learned....it is a deep seated reverence for life and appreciation for God's little angels that bring us such joy in our lives. Thank you, Dr. Ehlers. I wish words could adequately express my appreciation for you and your team.

As someone who has worked with and seen Dog Groomers in action behind the scenes, Tina is the best in the city: beautiful results from a kind, empathetic soul who cares deeply for each dog's comfort and safety while working her magic the waitlist for her service will be worth it, if a new customer is on the fence. you won't regret it!. Additionally, I trust Ehlers' vets to offer me the best medicine to care for my pets, and guide me to decisions that will work for everyone in the family

Dr Sintek has been caring for our shepherd mix dog who has cancer and also required surgery to remove her spleen. She has been extremely compassionate and caring. Has taken the time to call and check on Annie after every procedure. We are grateful to have this level of care for our beloved dog.

We are so lucky to have found our "pet family" to provide care for our new rescued pup, Shiloh. The convenience of having our veterinarian and groomer within the same organization makes it so convenient! Everyone there is so welcoming, friendly, and loving, and we felt right at home during our very first visit!

Dr. Ehlers and her staff are absolutely the best! We’ve been to many different vets and all of them are about treating the symptoms and not finding the cause. She treated my elderly pitbull (16 years old) with such compassion and had a ton of insight and knowledge to help her through until the ultimate end. Now we take our American Bully to her and wouldn’t trust any other vet with her care.

They were open when our dog injured his eye. Not sure if the surgery they recommended and performed was right for a dog of his age...he died less than two weeks later due to heart failure caused by stress.

Not good, I was not greeted when I walked in, on time for the dogs appointment, the woman just sat there and looked at me! I had to start the conversation! We were taken to an exam room, tec asked some questions, said " be back shortly" 35 minuets later! she comes back, tells me " the dog doesn't need to see a vet just update on vacc. ( i dont blame the tec, she was nice and took a second to get familiar with my dog)This is the second( in a row) bad visit to this clinic, and I have
been bringing my dogs here since she opened her
own clinic. Not any more.
Update: Dr Ehlers called and left an apology message, that was appreciated.

The staff at Ehlers are very kind. The moment you step through the doors the atmospheres is amazing. The front desk staff make sure you and your pet are comfortable (my German Shepherd is not a fan of slick floors so they brought him a mat). From the moment the vets and the vet techs walk into the room they are kind and loving towards the animals and you can tell they are passionate about their work. My dogs hated going to the vet but Ehlers has changed their minds.
After trying a new medication for my dogs they always follow up and see how they are going. They make sure that the steps they are taking are good for the animals and will not affect their quality of life.
I would recommend anyone who is new to pets to go here. They provide grooming and also provide referrals to trainers. For those with animals that struggle at the vets Ehlers kind, out going, and patient staff will make sure your family is well taken care of.

UPDATED FROM 1 TO 3 STARS: Ehlers has refunded us for the extra charge and vaccine described below, which is very encouraging. However, after multiple interactions they have still be unable to provide a proper vaccine record with all the information in one document. Our puppy trainer had to reach out to them directly to get the information they needed because the documents we forwarded from Ehlers were insufficient.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: At Ehlers, we noticed our new puppy being quietly given a medication we didn't ask for without any explanation of what it was. On our second visit, they couldn't find the records we provided from our first visit until we pressed them to check again twice. At the end of the visit, they charged us a new puppy examination fee of $45 even though we had already been charged a new client fee of $80 on the first visit. Additionally, they ignored their own vaccine schedule which they gave us on our first visit and administered a first Lepto vaccine during our second visit—even though our puppy had already received one very recently prior to our first visit. When we later asked for an official vaccine record, they were unable to provide any record other than the two invoices with conflicting information.
Overall, it's hard to say whether this clinic maliciously attempts to overcharge clients or is simply negligent in record keeping, but either way I would warn anyone considering taking their pets here to steer clear and go somewhere else.
