I have a lot of respect for this place. However, recent budget cuts have left several people I know out in limbo.

BE WARNED! They are horrible. Do not foster through them, they are horrible to their foster families. This agency left us high and dry when we were falsely accused and cleared by CPS. They took away our license WITHOUT even telling us! The "support" worker stopped answering us and wouldn't tell us anything, NO ONE DID! They won't help you out at all even when you have foster kids. They help disrupt an adoption were in the middle of! THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF KIDS AT HEART! They sent a letter notifying us TWO WEEKS LATER! Leaving us with questions and stunned looks on our face. They wouldn't tell us anything and blamed everyone but themselves. DO NOT get your license through them. There is no support and they are going to throw you under the best as fast as they can. Skip this place and find someone else.

This is a good place for kids. Staff was very friendly when my daughter and I dropped off individual jewelry bags for the kids.

I worked here for one year, and while the company has good intentions, if you are looking for a place of employment with opportunities of advancement and for diversity in leadership, then please do not waste your time here. They are okay, but if you are a minority they watch you closely and they will question only your hours worked etc… and not that of your Caucasian counter parts. Also, I have yet to see any managers or administrators of color within this organization. I find it very hard to believe that their are NO qualified ethic groups of men and women that are suited for the leadership roles within Cedars.Cedars serves thousands of minority children per year and these children are limited within the organizational leadership at Cedars that they can relate to. This is very sad.

Kids are supposed to be protected. They do not following protocol and check the Childs list of people who may or may not visit the kid. Kid has no bedtime and can sleep in as long as they want. Kid is not learning anything. No responsibility, manners, ect. Kid is there to learn those things to become a better person for his/her future. I do not recommend this place and will be doing everything I can to get child into a more stabile and stricter environment.

CEDARS does so much for kids and families. They are incredibly passionate about their mission and care deeply about helping vulnerable children in this community and strengthening families.
