Did an excellent job with my Feral Cat Loverboy. He was an emergency and he was seen quick between other appointments. Thank You for the wonderful service!

I will not be back after your miss diagnosis on Maggie. Several times you accused us of not loving our dogs and blaming their food for the vomiting and diarrhea. After thousands of dollars spent at your clinic we went to a different vet and it cost us less than $30 to find out Maggie was stage 4 kidney failure caused by treatment of heart worms. She was abused long before we adopted her. The only reason I will eventually forgive you is because I have to but I will never forget what you put us through.

Belmont vet has a superb team of people working. Of course, like with any vet these days it can be quite expensive, but I know I am paying for good care at Belmont.

This was our dog’s first and only appt. Recently moved to NE and needed to find a new clinic. The vet and vet tech were both friendly and understood the concerns we had for our pet as he was born with renal dysphasia.
The clinic administratively is poorly managed. It is also clear the hospital manager doesn’t care about customer service or patient concerns. We were told we would be notified with the lab results within a day or two, which is understandable as a send out. With the holiday and weekend, I expected a little longer. I find out 6 days later the results were in same day. I was also told the vet wasn’t in since the appt, so couldn’t give us the results until day 7. When speaking to the hospital manager, the vet was in on day 5, just didn’t call us. On day 7 we get told our animal needs medication, but we could get at CVS or Walgreens. That wasn’t true. Couldn’t even fill it at Kohll’s. I call to ask if the clinic can fill or if they know somewhere to fill it. After a few long holds and re-explanation, they submit it to Wedgewood. Later I find that they submitted the prescription for a different animal. The hospital manager stated this is a Wedgewood issue which seems funny since they had my right phone number and email.
I tried asking the hospital manager if all of this is normal practice or a series of unfortunate events. She told me that lab results typically come from the vet who saw the animal. Must not have been an emergency since they didn’t ask someone else to call. (Standard poodle now at 36.5lbs, normal is 60-70lb. He now needs medication and his lab values are double what they were last year when already elevated. But you know, not an emergency.) She also stated she didn’t know where to get medication filled at when I suggested not telling customers inaccurate information. Her defensiveness really showed when she stated, “What do you want ma’am?” I thought I was clear of the issues and suggestions. Never once an apology from her. She is clearly in a role she has no experience for. Our last vet clinic didn’t seem to have these issues for our dog’s 3 years of visits.

Dr. McFarland is simply the best and is an absolutely amazing vet. Very compassionate and empathetic. He always takes extra time to listen and you can tell he truly cares, both about your pet but also about you as a person. While I always appreciate his expert veterinary knowledge—it’s his own personal insight that sets him apart from other vets. He talks to you like you’re a person and not just the next patient on a list. Please give that man a raise.

The doctors and everyone else at Belmont are all friendly and great with pets. My dog may not always want to be there, but she's always happy to see everyone. When she's sick, they try their best to squeeze us in so my girl doesn't have to wait an extra day to start feeling better. And they always call a day or two after a sick visit to check in and make sure she's doing okay and see if I have any questions or concerns. Just amazing service! I tell everyone I know that gets a new pet or is looking for a new vet to go here! They can't go wrong with any of the doctors (and we've seen them all by now!)

Dr. O'Connor (and the staff) are wonderful! She cares deeply about providing the best care as well as setting the owners up for continued successful pet care through education, follow-ups, and recommendations. I highly recommend her and Belmont!

We brought our dog there for a bad breath smell. We spent over $600 on diagnostics. They said over 19 teeth needed to be removed. They quoted us a bill of $800+. We got a second opinion and walked out paying just under $150 and they did not need to remove 19 teeth. The people there seemed really nice; I would just be wary. We paid a lot of money for basically nothing.
