This was my first time taking my car to A1 automotive, I was impressed with their clean entrance. When my engine light came on, they were able to get me in quickly. The mechanics were professional and knowledgeable, and they completed the repairs on time and within budget.

This review is definitely not a knock on the quality of the repair, as they did do a fantastic job in that regard. My car hasn’t felt or handled this well in a long time, and it’s very clear they put great care into their work.
I’m leaving a 3 star review because I felt that communication was generally pretty weak. I understand the repairs I needed weren’t simple, but it was very frustrating to be told my car was finished, send a payment through the site so I could pick the car up after hours, and then get a call an hour later saying there was a wrong part sent so I’ll be without my car for the weekend. I understand cars are complicated, but you shouldn’t tell your customer their car is done until it’s out in the parking lot ready to pick up.
*Edit: The fact that I was offered a rental and the fact that you close at 11:30 on Fridays is not relevant at all to the concern I addressed. Wes called me at 11 to tell me my car was FINISHED, and it was arranged to pick my car up after hours that day. What frustrated me was I got a call an hour after that was arranged saying that my car was not finished as I was originally told. Waiting wasn’t the problem. I can handle that. But I should’ve been told at 11 that my car needed to wait if you were pushing the clock and my car was still being worked on in the garage. I’ll heed your advice and look for another mechanic. They were very nice and respectful. Straightforward on telling me what needed to be done on my vehicle. Was very fast on getting my parts and getting the job done. Communicating with me
I really was impressed on how they sent me pictures of indivual problem and explaining on where the problem was and the cost of it.. They even waited for me after hours to pick up my vehicle because I couldn't find a ride out there!

So I found you guys after I seen yall on the news. I was in the market for a new mechanic due to my previous one was not good. I was ready to write off my dodge ram and walk away from it. But after the guys at the over there worked on my ram. They took the time to research and respond to my questions and concerns.

A1 is a great company and has the best staff.
Love that they are honest and dedicated to getting to the bottom of any issue you may be having with your vehicle.
Issues with your vehicle are never fun but they make the process very smooth, by offering loaner vehicles as well.
They are a 5 star all around for me.

We dropped the car off. Service was good as always. We picked it up and my wife left the shop after oil change and the shroud under the oil pan came loose and was dragging while driving on I-180. She pulled over on the shoulder of I-180. I attached one of the front attachments then we returned to the shop, because I couldn’t get the other one attaches. Took them about 5 minutes to correct the problem.
