Val Verde Animal Hospital is a small animal clinic / hospital which serves pets from the very small (hamsters, gerbils, rats, rabbitts, etc...) to the quite large dogs including the giant breeds such as mastiffs, Great Danes, Irish Wolfhounds,...). Our surgical skills include most soft tissue surgeries including spays and neuters, but also include tumor removals external and internal. Orthopedic procedures are primarily limited to simple fracture stabilization and torn anterior cruciate stabilization surgery. Because the Omaha area does have a board certified orthopedic group, most other ortho procedures are referred to them. Dr. Hord does hold the CCRP certificate for canine rehabilitation, laser, water treadmill, and regen. medicine.
