Dr. Godsil has seen my son since he has been a newborn. She is great with him, and always answers all of my questions! She is extremely easy to talk to, and is knowledgeable. Her nurses are all super nice, and get back to me right away with my concerns!

So happy to have come across this location for a pediatrician for our son. Every single staff member has treated us so well and for every visit we have had, there is always time for questions. We never feel rushed and the doctor and nurses take their time. I would recommend any doctor here but our specific pediatrician is Frances Smith. She always asks if we have any questions or concerns and answers them fully and in a way we understand.

When I gave birth to our first child, the labor and delivery staff at Methodist mixed up my primary physician with my requested pediatrician. So unbeknownst to me, Dr Rachel McCann was called to check on our little one. Absolutely the best happy accident ever! We loved her and have stayed with her for over eight years now. She’s not only knowledgeable but genuinely a warm and caring person. I know she has a full schedule but we have never felt rushed or put off like I’ve experienced with my own healthcare providers. I can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else!

This is a great Children's office the receptionist are great the nurses are great the Drs are great and they are very quick getting you in and out Thank You they listen to your child snd their needs

Dr Godsil and all of her staff and colleagues, from the mid-levels, front desk staff, nurses, and the X-ray tech, Scott, are amazing people. They have always taken the time to listen to my concerns regarding my children’s needs and never ever make me feel like a burden. It’s so important to have confidence in the care and services our children need and I will continue to recommend their office to everyone I know.

I was taken aback by Dr. McCann's unprofessional comment about her nurses crying. It made me question the professionalism and confidentiality in her practice. I also expressed frustration about the scheduling error that resulted in my son receiving the wrong wellness check and having overdue vaccines. Instead of taking responsibility, there was blame-shifting. Additionally, my concerns about my son's protruding rib were dismissed until I had to bring it up again. These experiences have left me frustrated with the lack of proactive care. My son was diagnosed with asthma at children’s hospital along with GERD and all this time it was overlooked. As a result, I have decided to switch pediatricians and we will no longer be seeing Dr. McCannHere’s the review I left her on her personal page: I recently had an experience with this pediatrician where she not only displayed unprofessionalism during my visit but also crossed a line by calling me on my personal number to to inform me that two of her nurses were crying and that her nurses have no mal intent. As I do appreciate transparency no one was ever rude to her nurses. This behavior was completely inappropriate and left me feeling disheartened. I believe that professionalism and empathy are essential qualities for medical professionals, especially when dealing with children's health. How do you expect a patient to even want to return after you tell them two nurses were crying that’s just not ok. Unfortunately, this doctor failed to meet those expectations listed above.I had an extremely disappointing experience with this pediatrician. As a dedicated parent, I reached out to address my son's health concerns, but unfortunately, the level of professionalism and proactive care was severely lacking. Despite expressing genuine worries, the pediatrician seemed dismissive and failed to provide the thorough examination and attention that my son needed. My son also was scheduled for a 3 year wellness visit instead of a 4 year wellness visit.It was disheartening to witness the lack of urgency in addressing his symptoms, especially considering the potential impact on his overall well-being. I had to step in and play the role of both parent and advocate, pushing for further examination and appropriate testing. It shouldn't have been my responsibility to ensure that my son received the proper medical attention.I firmly believe that medical professionals should prioritize the concerns of their patients and their families. A proactive and empathetic approach is crucial, particularly when it comes to children's health. Unfortunately, this pediatrician fell short in delivering the level of care that we expected and deserved.I hope that sharing my experience will help others in making informed decisions about their healthcare providers. Super sad because she’s not the caring doctor she was whenever she was my pediatrician and the trust is broken. My kids will no longer be going to this facility or pediatrician.

I was able to get in quicker than what I thought was possible. Dr Rachel McCann is friendly and shows that she cares about my cups. Always a good experience with her and the nurses.

My husband took our son to his appointment. He shared that when the nurse asked my husband what our son was being seen for and he said he had concerns for Hand Foot and Mouth the nurse responded “He didn’t need an appointment for Hand Foot and Mouth”. My husband was the only one available to care for our son that day and thought he was doing what was best. That experience definitely made him feel inadequate as a father.

Always a great experience here. The doctors and nurses do such a great job of listening and most importantly building trust with me and my kids, for their time in the office and interactions with adults out of office. We love the Val verde office.
