Dr J Bruning: Literally the best doctor I’ve *ever* had. He truly listens and doesn’t cut it short because his allotted time is up. He will spend as long as he needs to in order to understand what’s going on and treat effectively. He is attentive, communicative, extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I would recommend everyone to see him.

No one washed their hands or even sanitized before checking my son. The nurse that took us into the room left the room to grab a swab for a strep test, she came back into the room with gloves on and the testing stuff already open. Who knows when she put the gloves on or what all she touched on the way back to the room. There’s something smeared down the side of the exam table. The nurse practitioner barely even said who she was when she came in or what was going on. Someone else came in the room with another swab, addressed herself as “it’s just me”. Swabbed my son for covid, no gloves, no washing, no sanitizing. Have no idea who she was. We’ve been here for well over an hour, and the most time a healthcare provider has been present is 5ish minutes. If there was an option for negative stars, I would have selected it. They prescribed antibiotics, just because.

First time going where it was a PA and not a real doctor. Seems like it was someone just starting their career. Didn’t take me seriously and completely misdiagnosed my situation, according to the second opinion I went to.

I lost my doctor a few years ago and decided to switch to Chi Health clinic to see Abbie Ketchum. This was the best decision I have ever made! Everyone at CHI is so kind and caring. They not only respect you as an individual but they also really want you to feel better and be well. It does get booked out rather quickly so definitely make an appointment in advance but if you can’t there is a walk in priority clinic with a different doctor. It’s clean and comforting and has all the up to date equipment. I will never go anywhere else!

I’ve been here several times, one being today. I’m always greeted by kind and helpful receptionists and caring nurses. I’ve had Dr.Winnie several times and she is very quick to confirm and detect my issues, as well as answer questions. I love coming here for Priority care and would recommend it to others. The only downside, I’ve experienced, is a long wait. However, that should be expected.

Doctor looked at my partner's eye, which has been hurting him, painful to light, and watering. Dr Nlam couldn't see anything in the eye...yet wouldn't test for pink eye. Even though that should've been the next step and I brought it up to him. All the Dr would do is give a general antibiotic eye drops for allergies. Again, would not test anything. Very unsatisfied.

I went here because my right ear was clogged from wax figure be real easy and fast. The nurse was doing a lot of water pressure at once not stopping until I said it hurts. I got light headed informed her. She did my next ear that was the worst ear told her to stop once it hurt as well. I think she did too much too fast. I needed to lie down and i got really dizzy dr. Came in I don’t know if she was concerned or said anything. It got better maybe 2min. I complained about my left ear being filled with water and was told it will get better. I need to go to an ent since I got dizzy and they can get it out without water. No apologies what happened to me and I had my 3yr old with me and I am pregnant.Going to the ent all the pressure in the ear that wasn’t as bad it hurts so bad it is infected from the water pressure.Very bad experience and no apology or anything from dr or the nurse I felt like I didn’t matter it’s like hers ur papers ur can go type of feeling.

CHI clinic gave me the MOST horrible experience of a lifetime! I have had a horrible experience with the clinic, especially in the last four months. Here is how some of my horrible experiences with them began unfolding: I was told that they would check if my insurance would cover my treatment. They told me if they don't call me prior to my appointment, I can just show up for the treatment. Because I haven't received a call they promised, I ended up going to the clinic for the treatment. However, they didn't tell me that my treatment is not covered by the insurance until the 3rd day. Consequently, they wanted me to pay $729 for 90 minutes of massage therapy/consultation which didn't help with my shoulder pain at all, and the family doctor told me to stop the therapy and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. I normally pay $120 for a good two-hours massage elsewhere. On the day of my appointment with the orthopedic, I was a few minutes late for my appointment because the GPS couldn't locate the correct address of their building, and the nurse/receptionist didn't want to accommodate me. I begged her to see the doctor because I was in pain, but she wouldn't let me see the doctor, and I ended up going back home without seeing the doctor. I then called the clinic and asked to be connected to the hospital's manager to file a complaint about my experience, and I was told a manager will call me after she is done with her meeting. No one called me, and I called the clinic's number the next day and told them that I was still waiting for a manager to call me. I was then promised again that someone would call me back. And no one called me back, and I left it at that. One day I received a bill for an outrageous amount for therapy that didn't help with my pain. I started calling the billing department, and the physical therapy department several times over the course of 4 months. I won't mention the names of the horrible individuals I spoke with as this may sound like a personal attack. One of them connected me to the dispute department just to get rid of me when she knew they were not yet open. That was her way of hanging up on me. For her, the most important thing is telling me about the collection agency, and not listening to me--the patient. With the exceptions of Remellie (billings), Valerie (billings), and Tami (La Vista physical therapy), I haven't found most of them to be helpful at all. Realizing the failure of the clinic to let me know upfront that my insurance won't cover my treatment, the physical therapy department has adjusted the amounts I owe them, and I have paid them in full. As of today 3/21/2022, as far as I am concerned, I don't owe this clinic a penny, and their app tells me that I owe them $158, an amount I paid a few days ago, and have proof of payment. When I call the billing department, they tell me I owe them $887. There is such a disconnect between the billing department, the physical therapy department, and the clinic's front-end app that I (the patient) have access to on my mobile. After I took a physical test at this Clink, both the nurse and the doctor didn't explain the test results or discuss questions concerning my test results. I tried asking the nurse a question about my test result, but she wasn't willing to answer my question. The clinic app gives you an opportunity to ask the doctor a question, but you would never hear back from your doctor. I am sure there are a few people that are professionals, but the bureaucratic bubble of the clinic's system around them, and the lack of business etiquette make the professional ones almost unreachable. All in all, the CHI clinic is one you should run away from. The CHI clinic is the mother of headaches, frustrations, and everything but professionalism. The only time I would ever go there is only to bestow on them an award for exemplary bad service.

Just go to the midlands office if possible. Both times I have been to this place have been awful experiences. Front desk is great, wait times aren’t bad, one “triage nurse” is amazing, everyone else is TERRIBLE. Dr Q is very dismissive of any and all concerns, he rushes patients out without actually showing any kindness. He orders test but that’s it. Abby Ketchum, the nurse practitioner, is argumentative and arrogant. I’d be okay never having to deal with her again. The ladies who drew blood are massively overweight with meaty hands, so it took them way more times than necessary to get blood drawn. I wasn’t allowed to go pee to give a urine sample until the very end of my visit, which is an awful experience just by itself. I can see why everyone always recommends staying away from here.

every time i come here i wait about 30 minutes in the waiting center, and then another 20-30 minutes in the actual room. It is truly ridiculous. My appointment was at 2:30 not 3:25. I wish I could say this is just a one time problem, but it is an every time problem.

Let me start out by saying the providers here are excellent and patient. The problem I have is with the Medical Assistants and Receptionists. Every time I go to this clinic, I feel rushed and not taken seriously about things. Receptionists here have NO clue what they are doing, how to facilitate problems and solving problems. Only thing they know how to do is ask DOB and last name. Anything beyond that they have no idea. Called because I missed a call from the clinic and got the answer of, "well there are many people here with that same name here so I don't know what to tell you." All I got in my voicemail was a first name, not my fault. Reception and medical assistants here need retrained on professional practices (not being glued to their cell phones) and CHI's policies (phone policy) as I used to be a former employee with them and know the drill. Will be looking for a new clinic for medical support.
