Highly do not recommend this service. No need to outline my one week connectivity issues with them out here. Paid for service. Been 8days now, no connection. Tired of calling customer care with same default answer. Please seek out other options, this network is unreliable!!!

Internet service is HORRIBLE had for only a month and went out twice. Once was on a Friday afternoon and was told that they would look at it on Monday, so no internet for 4 days so far in one month and we are only on day 15. Horrible customer service they have spend 45 min going through things you just tested so that they can escalate to the store. We will be switching back to our original provider.

I just added this service recently.
The installer was great
I've had issues with connectivity with wifi connecting with my 2 TV's
I called tech support over 2 days ago to help me with this. Still haven't received a return phone call. This isn't the best way to help a customer who just signed on to do business with this company.

I had fiber installed in my in-home daycare. I love that they are local and I can speak to a real person when I call instead of waiting on hold trying to speak to a robot like you would with charter. Speeds are much quicker and consistent.

We are so happy with the service and experience we have had with Great Plains Communications. The speed is efficient to upload our larger files for processing and we hardly ever had any glitches. It's so nice to have local service and customer care right here in Kearney Nebraska!! Thank you!

SO BAD. Choose any internet provider that ISN’T Great Plains. We were USA customers and never had issues. When Great Plains took over, we started having SO many issues. We pay for the top speed available because my husband works from home, we have smart home devices, and I’m a full-time student. Our internet goes out AT LEAST twice a week, causing issues with his work and my homework. Took FOREVER to get a tech to our apartment. When one did show up, he showed up without any notice and without calling. We had to turn him away because it wasn’t a good time and had to wait even longer for him to come back again. He switched out our router because it was an older model. Still having these issues with the new router. Currently have not had internet for about five hours. They just forward you to the next level when you call in for help and then you rarely get a response. We’ve been looking at switching and it can’t happen soon enough.

People are great. Internet is lousy. Would switch to Allo if our Landlords would let us. Real hard to work from home when the internet comes and goes as it pleases

We started using Great Plains when we moved and our previous carrier didn't provide service at our new location. We are more than happy with our service and haven't had service interruption even in rural Nebraska!

Was told an installation would be provided in a few weeks (mid May). I called to follow up once a week and was always told a few weeks out. Now we are at the end of September. I continue to call their office every few days and am always promised a return call that same day when they figure it out. This is week 3 of it and still no return call or answers as to what is going on.

Product and service is phenomenal, only to be outdone by 1st class customer service. Aaron and his team made our transition of carriers a pleasent and smooth process, which was very appreciated. Our clinic had no interuptions in business during that time! Top notch team! 5/5

I am a very pleased with the great service and speed that I get with Great Plains Communications. I am an agent with Farmers Union Midwest Agency in kearney and Aaron always provides the best possible service. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are happy to sell their internet service, but it takes months to get their cable buried in my yard in Lexington. Still waiting for completion of the job!

DO NOt USE THIS COMPANY. There's some really bad companies out there that absolutely don't care door customers but this one takes the cake. If you having issues with your internet don't expect to get it fixed soon IF they even fix it at all. Also don't expect customer service to be kind or friendly it's like their all trained and told to be extremely rude and to put you down and make it seem like it's your fault. How are they in business with their overpriced and unreliable internet that ALWAYS and I mean always stops working and none to fix it or help
