They are all so kind and caring. Before I dropped her off Macey was so kind and went over which vaccines she needed and which ones I wanted loved they gave me an option! And Dr. Pierce called me after and chatted with me when I was checking out! Just very informative and caring very personable!

Dr. Pierce is amazing. My cat had an emergency urinary blockage over the weekend and had to receive urgent care and hospitalization. Of all the vets I have taken my pets to in the multiple towns I have lived in the 40 years of being a multiple cat owner, and rescuing cats, he is by far one of the smartest, most attentive, and compassionate vets I have known. Every single day he called me to update me on my cat's progress and thoroughly went over each and every procedure, and each future home treatment. I had many questions and he answered them all, and was never annoyed at my need for detailed answers. He knew absolutely everything, and was current on all the new research. I was really in awe. Also, when I went to pay the bill I was certain I'd be emptying my account, but it was also the most reasonable vet bill I've ever had for such long term care. I will now be calling Dr. Pierce my veterinarian. Truly, I hope he stays here a long long time.

WE HAD TO TAKE BELLA HERE FOR AN ER VISIT OVER THE WEEKEND. ALTHOUGH SHE DID NOT MAKE IT THROUGH SURGERY AND WE ARE DEVASTATED DR. PIERCE AND SAGE WERE AMAZING WITH ME. THEY WERE AMAZING WITH BELLA AND HOW THEY TREATED US AND HELPED ME COPE THROUGH THIS LIFE CHANGING EVENT WAS AMAZING. I AM SO SAD ABOUT MY MISS BOBO BELLA BUT SHE IS NOT IN ANY PAIN ANY LONGER. I JUST WANT TO THANK THEM. BELLA WAS MY KEEPER OF MY HEART SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN 10 IN JAN OF 2025 AND WITH US FOR 10 YEARS IN AUGUST. SHE WAS ADOPTED AT AN ANIMAL SHELTER IN VIRGINIA WE MOVED HERE FROM VIRGINIA A YEAR AGO. SHE WAS A TOUGH LITTLE LADY AND WAS TOLD SHE EVEN STILL HAD HER ATTITUDE WHEN SHE WALKED INTO THE SURGERY SUITE (NOT VERBATIM).

Riverside animal hospital is amazing! We have been taking our animals there for years, and they have never disappointed. Recently my dog Juno was feeling very sick, I called last minute on a Friday knowing they would be busy and not have a lot of time, and they immediately got me in with no hesitation. All the staff is very knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. They ended up having to keep her over the weekend doing bloodwork, testing, giving medication, ultrasounds etc… and my bill was VERY reasonable! Will never go anywhere else!

My dog got into some antifreeze and we brought her here. Granted they saved her, but they also expect me to pay a $750 bill all at one time. I have kids, I have other bills, and this was an unexpected accident. So they’re keeping her until the bill is paid in full??? Not to mention I was standing at the counter and instead of coming out and facing me, they went in the back and called my fiancé and told him they would need the bill paid in full and then had him call me and tell me!? She’s also a registered service animal and trained to warn us when my fiancé has an oncoming epileptic seizure. He has to have her, and not to mention it’s completely ILLEGAL for them to keep her because of an unpaid bill. That’s like if my daughter went into the hospital for breaking a bone and when I tell them I can’t pay the bill in full they say well she can’t leave until it’s paid in full. It would basically be kidnapping and this is basically pet napping…..idc how nice the staff or the doctor is the fact they couldn’t even come out and tell me that it had to be paid in full says a lot. I wasn’t yelling, I wasn’t rude, but I was a little irritated but that is not an excuse for what they did. Do better……
