Customer service at the store was excellent and gave us good advice. Delivery was quick and they moved old furniture to our garage. They were very helpful with setting up furniture!

?I brought my son to an appointment this morning and because of blizzards the past two days, the fact that Kearney doesn’t clear the downtown very well and the fact that I’m in a sports car where my parking options are even more limited; I parked in a spot where I knew I’d be able to get back out. I’m sitting in my car talking to my husband on the phone and the employee of the furniture store unlocked and went in to their business. Within maybe 5 minutes of her going in she came out and was either videoing or on a video call because she was showing my car and my license plate then made eye contact with me and started filming the pickup beside me. I thought it was interesting why she was doing that but was like whatever because I’m in a legal parking spot that’s not marked for anything in particular and because my son is in a business right down the street so I’m doing absolutely nothing wrong. After filming she and another lady stood inside the door just staring. Then after a few minutes she came out and put a note on the pickups windshield. She and the other lady precede to stand at the door and stare more. A few minutes after that she no joke walks up to my car and I start to roll my window down, again making eye contact and she instead of talking to me puts a note on my windshield about parking in front of their store because they have elderly customers….. ITS A FURNITURE STORE that is STILL CLOSED and then goes inside and is AGAIN at this very second standing there staring at me. I genuinely pity people like her! I can’t imagine being so consumed with the feeling of entitlement that you practically harass someone for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I’ve only been here for less than 45 minutes anyway I digress.I’m adding some pics to depict what the parking looks like, and the situation. Never going to ever shop at Nelson’s furniture that’s for sure! Very rude.. I can only imagine how they treat their customers. Which is sad cuz we were looking at getting a place and needing furniture.. but there are other places in town.

Everyone was very friendly and I had great service while there! They made my purchase super simple and stress free. I will definitely be going to Nelson’s Furniture for any future purchases and would highly recommend them!

Our experience was above and beyond our expectations at this store. We were looking for a recliner lift chair and the man who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful without pressuring us to buy. Delivery happened quickly with friendly, considerate delivery staff. Great customer service has continued after the sale when we have called to ask questions about the chair. Kudos to Nelson’s Furniture in Kearney!

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Lots of options to choose from. Learned of an option for a loaner chair to use while recovering from surgery. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience. Friendly staff in a low pressure environment. Great selection for all styles. They had the two sofas we wanted in stock and delivered the next day. Skip the big box nightmare and shop here!

Long story short we needed a bed asap. We explained our situation and the people there were able to get what we needed delivered to our house on short notice. I’ll definitely remember next time, that I need/want something, to buy local. Can’t thank the man and woman in the store, and the delivery guys enough! You really helped us out!
