“I travel through Kearney at least once a year, but this was my first time staying in the Candlewood Suites. The hotel and room was very nice, but I didn't realize there wasn't any breakfast service. That's a non-starter for future visits unfortunately.”

“We always travel with our dog. That is why we started staying at Motel 6. We have stayed at numerous Motel 6 and this is by far the nicest,newest, cleanest Motel 6. The front desk service was prompt and friendly. Room was immaculate. I would definitely recommend this motel.
Rooms: The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable. Very nice!”
“Let's be honest. I didn't expect too much as far as a hotel with a "waterslide" for our kids on a cross country road trip. The most I could hope for was a shallow pool with a 2 foot tall slippery ramp and spraying toys.
Boy was I BLOWN AWAY. The staff here was AMAZING. They went above and beyond to help me with a reservation issue (my own mistake). They were amazingly courteous and genuinely made us feel like we were welcome, and not a nuisance family that showed up at 9:30 after an 11 hour drive with cranky kids.
The Waterpark was OPEN EARLY. If you don't have young kids you may not understand what a big deal that is. Trying to fit in any time in a normal pool that opens at 10 when checkout is at 11 feels like a cheat. This Waterpark opened at 8. You know the kids are awake at 6 anyway and giddy with splashy anticipation.
There was no continental breakfast, BUT even better there was a Starbucks in the building- and spending $20 to get them 'fancy, normally mommy and daddy only breakfast' delighted them.
Bottom line, if you find yourself driving across Nebraska towards the Rockies and facing a carload of angry offspring, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and book a room at this hotel. They will be thrilled and I can almost guarantee that they will be sleeping today's drive away after so much aquatic exertion.
To the hotel manager: your team was outstanding and I dare say the best of any of the 50+ hotels we have stayed at with kids. Please pass on our compliments.

“Can't speak to the actual hotel stay but very accommodating and understanding. We had unexpected car trouble and weren't able to make our reservation. They were incredibly helpful with cancelling our reservation. Would definitely work with them again and hope to get to stay here in the future!”

“Hands down best hotel gym with dumbells from 5 -50lbs, medicine balls, cardio equipment, large nice outdoor patio area, more options are breakfast than most choice hotels. The room had a fresh smell and everything was clean.”
“This is your typical 2-star roadside motel; but, is FAR better than most! The room was exactly as expected for this type of motel; but, extremely clean (including the smell of bleach) with a few more upscale items, like quartz counter tops & a pretty comfortable mattress. There was also an actual warm blanket included in the bed clothes, which alot don't have anymore. The pillows were awful!! It took 3 to make anything resembling a normal pillow. The man who checked me in was friendly and fairly quick, & the location felt safe, which was very important as a female traveling alone.

“Only good thing is the location close to to the hospital and for places bed had a hole dipped in not comfortable at all room was dirty found a dirty rag in with used soap in the shower when we checked in there was a big mess up with our room asked for the room to be cleaned while we're back at the hospital and never ”
