Apex has helped me out from oil changes, to wheel bearings, to a new head gasket. They worked with my warranty company to help repair my head gasket as well! These guys know what they are doing, are VERY reasonably priced, and will not try to upsell you. Trust Apex with all of your vehicle maintenance and repairs!

Wonderful mechanics here, overall good people and very fair and honest. They fixed up my van and actually ended up solving a LOT of issues with just two parts that I didn't realize was causing issues that weren't normal. It's added life back to my engine and alternator. I am so grateful to these guys. Also, if you need to wait with your vehicle, they have a cute kitty to keep you company. I would give them more stars if I could.

I left Roy, Utah late on Sunday afternoon with an overfilled U-Haul trailer and two large dogs, bound for Tellico Plains, Tennessee. I rolled into Ogallala, Nebraska early the next morning, got a few hours of sleep, and hit the road again.
Two hours later, I ran into car trouble in Kearney, Nebraska. A fella at the O'Reilly's tested the alternator and battery. The battery was running low and the alternator was bad. He recommended a local mechanic, but I wasn't very optimistic. As I figured, they were too busy to help. They recommended another place called Apex Mechanics, but I figured I'd meet with the same results. I was wrong.
Spencer answered the phone, and when I explained what was going on, he told me to come right over. When I got there, I could see that they had lots of work, and it would've been easy for him to turn me away. But he didn't. Instead, he jumped right on the job, worked through lunch, and had me back on the road in no time. I was still a long way from home, and I greatly appreciated how hard he worked to get me on my way.
I'd never heard of Kearney, Nebraska until that day, but I'm glad that's where I had car trouble. If I lived there, Apex Mechanics would get my business for life. If you live in the area or are passing through and have car trouble, give them a call. Not only are they good at what they do and are hard working, but they're also honest.

Needed an emergency fix on a crosscountry roadtrip. Spencer did an incredible job and I was back on the road after only an hour. Incredible customer service and super knowledgeable.

0n 6/7/23, my wife and I, while traveling through Nebraska from Colorado on our way back home to Wisconsin, our vehicle blew its alternator drive belt, leaving us stranded on I-80 near Kearney. After several calls to tow companies and some local mechanics, we were referred to Apex Mechanics as a possible location where they could immediately repair our vehicle (not leaving us stranded overnight for repair the next day). I can not say enough good things about this facility and the men who own/run it. After being towed in (late in the afternoon), the mechanics went to work on our vehicle, assessing if there were any other problems, other than just a broken drive belt. After determining it was just a broken belt, and learning that there were three different (lengths) belts made for my vehicle, they stayed open after hours to repair our vehicle and get us back on the road to home! Hopefully, I will never break down again while traveling through Kearney, but if I did (or if I lived in the area), I would go back to this business in a heartbeat, as finding a garage like this, where the mechanics actually care more about their customers, then just making a profit (they charged us a fair rate, no extra fee for the emergency repair) is priceless! Thank you again for your great service and for helping someone who was in need of help.

I had some unfortunate repairs needed while I was on a cross-country road trip this summer. The team at Apex went above and beyond to help me get back on the road. As an out-of-towner I really appreciated their superb communication and their trustworthiness. Even so much as giving me a ride to/from my hotel. If I'm ever in the area again, I know where to go!

I'm impressed. I called for an oil change on my company vehicle, and there was no answer. Rather than leaving a message, I continued trying to get into other shops in town, who either didn't answer or couldn't get me in that morning.This shop actually called me back, apologized for missing my call, and got me in and out of there quickly. You won't regret having your vehicle serviced here. I'm tempted to let them work on one of my personal vehicles, and I live almost 400 miles from their shop.

I would give this business 100 stars if I could. I'm not from the area and our camper bus broke down on the way home to Wisconsin. Joel gave us a lift into town while they worked on it. When the repairs were going to take longer than expected, they accommodated us. Also there is an extremely friendly shop cat to keep you company.

This service employs competent and professional mechanics. Firstly, the guys quickly get to work, and secondly, I specifically had a difficult problem - they sorted everything out and started repairs. They quickly ordered the necessary spare parts - my car is non-standard, and then they all understood how and what needs to be done to eliminate the cause of the breakdown. Absolutely deserved five stars, everything is much faster and more comfortable than the official dealer. Thank you very much, you are all great!
