This is Awesome Course! Very Difficult, with Huge Greens ! Expect to play over your usual scores, for there are many blind shots to the greens, which are Very Undulating! Loved the Challenge!

I got the pleasure of playing this yesterday and this place is phenomenal... The land that was transformed here is really special. You could blindfold someone and take them to the first tee and they probably wouldn’t guess they’re on the edge of Nebraska and only 20 mins from Sioux City. The size of the greens and the sloping made for some unwanted 3 putts, but it made for challenging golf and proper approach shots were needed in order to capitalize. The tee shot on 17 was my favorite. The size of the green was crazy to look at! It’s a course everyone needs to play. I’ll be back in the near future! Thanks for the great experience!

I want to start by saying I played here for the first time last week and shot 1 under par. The only reason I mention that is to make sure anyone reading this knows that if my review comes across critical in any way it's not due to bad golf. That being said, I'll start by saying the people at LandMand were all simply outstanding! They couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. I'll also say that the course and the landscape are simply stunning. It's worth playing for that alone. However, from a golfing standpoint the best way I can describe the course itself is it's as if someone built a video game golf course in the real world. I don't say that to be critical only to let golfers who enjoy a more natural traditional challenge know that there's quite a bit of "gimmick" to the layout especially when it comes to the greens. If you take the course for what it is you'll be fine, but if you think you'll be experiencing an inland links layout as I was expecting you might be frustrated.

I had a friend playing in an event on this course that I was caddying for. We asked the club days in advance if caddies could play the practice round and where told that they could and given a time for two players. On the day of the practice round we’re told no caddies can play and accused of lying about the employee stating caddies could play. I promise you I didn’t spend a day of PTO, two hours of drive time, and hotel costs on a hope and a prayer. Really disappointing to see how this club handles its business. Look to other courses in Nebraska for your golf.

Beautiful course, awesome hospitality, the only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is, that they need water stations on every 3 holes, especially when it is so humid. Otherwise it's an awesome place.

Landman to me is a whole new approach to golf. It’s not a classic championship style course like Oakmont, Hilton Head, or Bethpage. It’s a course that lets you pick your own tee off music, has a handful of drivable par 4’s, and a 30,340 square foot green…that’s 6X larger than average. It’s meant to be a ton of fun.Critiques out of the way first. The driving range has a metal bucket thing around 200 yards. I get the vibe but throw me a scarecrow at 100 and some hay bales at 150. Arm me with more than 15 balls. The Farmers Table food truck is cool….why aren’t there locally farmed things on the menu? Be an expert at Elote. Carts….GPS. Ball markers, let’s get a magnetized one that I can display or use. Thats probably particular to me but I’m writing this so I get a vote. Given the critiques am I upset? Hell no.This course is young. There’s some pieces that I think will come in time (locker room with showers) and some things it’s going to define for itself. Like windsock flag pins. I’m more excited about the direction this course takes. You’re not out there paying respects to golf history with every shot. You’re walking out to Smells Like Teen Spirit, taking a shot, and hitting bombs. The course is meant to be enjoyed with friends having a good time. It’s playable. Enormous fairways, use your imagination shots, and comical greens. Your friends who are terrible at golf can get to the green you just drove. Once on the green everyone is equally likely to three put.I grind my teeth through most rounds and mutter curses at myself. I laughed a lot during Landman. Like hey, I’m going to fly 30 yards past this pin into the mountain backstop behind it and see what happens. It’s meant to be a fun. It’s meant to be party. It’s meant to be a grip it and rip it with the boys. It is. All of that. Play it if you can.

Very interesting layout. Very large greens and wide fairways. Very open so wind can be a big factor in your score. Bunker on 18 is 20 feet below green. It cost me several strokes.

Super fun and unique course. First impressions were great! Friendly staff, well kept amenities, nice pro shop. You can pick a walk-up song at the first tee. The course itself was in phenomenal shape and the greens were the biggest I’ve ever played on. It makes for a fun and scenic round!
