This location is in a quiet strip mall in Gretna, off the 204th before the 370. Parking is relatively easy, cashier is friendly, and the offerings are decent, but the pricing isn't fantastic, in my opinion. Ended up picking out seasonal cards and dog treats. The drinks and food aren't majorly discounted but it's a clean store.

This store carries many items that are available at larger, name brand stores. BIG Difference they are much more inexpensive. The service is good and employees are very helpful. So if you are trying to save some money in this high price grocery time, I strongly recommend Dollar General. We utilize it for many products and some of the products that they carry are very surprising as well as good quality finds. ENJOY!!

Absolutely rediculous that this is one of two places that are in Gretna available to buy essentials (baby diapers and wipes) and they can't be open before 8am, when most people in the community have to be at work by 8 and it's a huge inconvenience not being able to stop before work or even those who have childcare drop off and need items for the day.

Good ole dollar general, where generally 1 dollar ? can get you 1 of many items that cost $1. Of course, not EVERYTHING is only a dollar. (This ain't the magical dollar tree). Like check out the photo of what's in my bright yellow bag today. All $1 each have you. I must say, if it weren't for this general guy and his generous offerings of value price merchandise, I probably would have starved a long time ago. I hope the general lives forever!

Staff does not wear masks, putting themselves and customers health at risk. Will not be returning and told friends and family to go elsewhere.
