Pet Care
Verner Veterinary Clinic
4127 N Luther Rd, FremontWe called Verner's vet clinic with the hope that they could see our dog after our normal vet had told us they didn't have appointments for 2 weeks. Our dog had a seizure and was struggling, we had known we were getting close to the end. Dr. Verner was so kind and gave our dog the best care. He examined him and let us know there were more health issues than we even realized. He spent time going thru options, concerns, everything we needed to know. We ended up making the decision to put our dog down. I will never forget the patience, kindness, and comfort we were shown especially since it was an impromptu appointment for a dog he had never met. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dodge County Humane Society
787 S Luther Rd, Fremont[Long story short, (I know... sorry) this is a fantastic place to find that animal family addition you are looking for!♡]I've got to say... this place had a rep that has kept me from visiting in the past... I'm happy to say though, this place was great! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. My daughter and I were there over 2 hours looking at all of the animals. In that time, we witnessed some nice people bring in a lost dog, which the staff got to work right away on (and by the time we left found, contacted, and reunited with the owner.) We witnessed them taking dogs individually on short walks and cleaning kennels, which seamed very well maintained. They showed us all the dogs and cats, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about each animals temperament and how each animal could potentially fit what type of home new owners might have (like this one is energetic, plays well with kids or other animals, or if they were more the type for a single owner type of lifestyle, needs constant attention or not...) I was really impressed and have no concerns about the well being of these animals. The end goal of coarse is to place all these animals in good homes and their process sounds really good as well. They have a trial period for you to see if the animal is a good fit for the environment you have, and if it is, the cost is very reasonable and covers all of the necessities such as spay/neuter, vaccines for a year, and (not positive but) chip implants for little or no cost...?Long story short, (I know... sorry) this is a fantastic place to find that animal family addition you are looking for!♡
