I have a VW Passat. I went to a local shop in Fremont, a specialty shop for European cars in Omaha, a dealership in Omaha, AND a dealership in Lincoln. They were the 5th shop I’ve been to. I instantly felt heard and valued from the first phone call. When I walked into the shop for the first time, I was greeted with kindness and a willingness to listen. Right off the bat the asked to drive my car with me to experience what I was going through. They diagnosed my car, told me what part needed replaced, why, and what its role was within my car. They also showed me the parts they replaced and how they malfunctioned. I don’t have much experience with vehicles, so for them to take the time to explain and show me why and what I needed says leaps and bounds about their shop. They absolutely blew me out of the water with their knowledge and understanding. If you need work, go here. Support local small businesses.

Went and got my breaks done and asked them to be really careful with my newer wheels. So he came out and looked at all my wheels and said all good no damage to any.
I come back later that day to pick up my pickup and almost immediately notice a decent scratch on the one wheel. Also center cap fell out a day and a half later cause not put on properly. Went to go and talk to with a quote for the wheel and cap and he said I'm not paying for the whole thing. I'll give you $200. The wheel alone cost $430 plus around anouther $50 for a new center cap.
Will never go back again cause dont want to take responsibility for a mistake they made!! Would not recommend!! Very disappointed!!

So impressed with the service at Maco. We were leaving on a roadtrip with only 48 hrs to spare when our exhaust system began acting up. The technician at Maco was honest & competent, fixing the problem in plenty of time for us to load up for our holiday roadtrip. 700 miles later and the fix has been flawless. Thank you!

They’re very affordable and will work with you, as long as you work with them. They’re a great auto repair shop and a very welcoming community. I’m glad they were able to help me as much as they did. I would definitely recommend it to other people.
