Paid over 800 to have just back breaks done had to have it picked back up because one of the new pads they put on came loose inside the wheel. Even after the second time come to find half the lug nuts were loose (we almost lost a wheel) the clip was missing on the caliper and the pad was still loose and sliding. You could undo the caliper screws with your finger so loose its scary.
They just took the plug off to make the break light go off and shoved the plug up under a panel DISGUSTING instead of fixing the actual issue WHO DOSE THAT!!!
The engine manifold cover was put on wrong and doing so cut some of the tubing the tubing was just hanging there...they did not bother to fix it..
They did not get the air out after the caliper installation we have had break issues ever since we took our vehicle here and we have had more issues than before we took it in. Its obvious they are taking advantage of people DO NOT GO HERE for your saftey!!! I feel completely taken advantage of by this shop the work is disgusting.

I have a VERY difficult and particular Dodge Dart. And had my struts replaced just for the noise to get worse. I then took it to Hartman Auto Repair and they worked on that car undlessly until they found the issue and fixed it. I will never go anywhere else for car repair. I can't put into words how helpful and knowledgeable they are! Great staff that genuinely care about you and your car!

we had a work truck breakdown while in town, Brian came right out, tried to do some fixes onsite, but it needed parts, towed it back to the shop, parts quickly ordered and back to us within a couple days. Very good service at a very reasonable cost.

They have picked up my van to do the brakes, change the oil and work on the a/c when it was so hot during the summer. Then they brought it back to me within a couple of hours. Always priced fairly and always done right. They saved my kids from a heatstroke when I had taken it to a Columbus shop & an Omaha air conditioner specialist and they couldn't figure it out. Took my truck there with 5 separate issues. After sitting there all week, I was told it was done. As I got the truck and left David City, I noticed 4 of the 5 things weren't fixed. When I retrieved the truck, i left a car there to get new tires and turn the rotors. Days later I was told the car was done so I dropped my truck back off to have the other 4 repairs done and take the car home, 1 mile out of town, the right from tire area was grinding. They didn't bolt on the caliper bracket or rotor!! I limped it home and retrieved my truck the next day to prevent anymore issues. Unbelievable.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my truck there with 5 separate issues. After sitting there all week, I was told it was done. As I got the truck and left David City, I noticed 4 of the 5 things weren't fixed. When I retrieved the truck, i left a car there to get new tires and turn the rotors. Days later I was told the car was done so I dropped my truck back off to have the other 4 repairs done and take the car home, 1 mile out of town, the right from tire area was grinding. They didn't bolt on the caliper bracket or rotor!! I limped it home and retrieved my truck the next day to prevent anymore issues. Unbelievable.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Absolutely horrible service!!! Took my truck to this his Auto Mechanic Shop in David City, Nebraska. I didn't get it back until today, almost a year and a half later. The only thing he did with my truck,was to move it out of his way. He left it unlocked and the key in it. The battery was drained and several of my items were stolen. I paid $300.00 ahead of the repairs to get it started. I only got $250 back. If you value your time and money don't take your vehicle to Hartman auto repair shop!!!

I've taken a few cars to them and always been pleased with their depth of knowledge/experience. They seem very honest and apparently others must feel the same (based upon the number of customer vehicles I see by their shop) It appears as if their popularity may necessitate future shop space/lot expansion.
