I love going to this HyVee Gas Station! The cashiers are always super friendly and really helpful and quite frankly, they HyVee Gas Station is set up waaayyy better than the one in my home town.

Ate at the deli with some friends. We had sweet and sour chicken, a cheese burger, and a chicken sandwich. A friend had the sweet and sour chicken, and they served the sauce in very hard to open packets. . . Weird, inconvenient, and frustrating.
I ate a chicken sandwich, and they burnt the chicken, so much so that it tasted burnt.
No complaints on the cheese burger.

I'm 70 years old, it seems absurd to me to have to show my ID to buy six beers. In a gesture of sincerity I expressed it to the employee who attended to me, and in a way that showed her anger, she replied that she could go shopping somewhere else. It seemed like an inadequate and disproportionate response to me because she is only there to ship and collect what customers buy. This happened today, Saturday, June 8 at 3:00 pm.

Hy-Vee might be a tad more expensive than your other stores. But, they have the better meats and produce. Their cafe is always a good spot to grab a bite. They have a ton of options.

So I just left from here ok. So here is how this went I walked into the store to get my items and as I approached the checkout I asked Jamie whom I’m going to assume is the night manager I asked her if she was open and she told me Umm no but the self checkouts are open in a rude way and I said to her ok I see that but they do not take wic cards and she rolled her eyes at me walked off to the customer service and helped someone else and then asked another employee to help me who was way nicer then Jamie so I thank the young lady who helped me and she told me to have a beautiful night as I was grabbing my things Jamie wanted to tell me to have a good night and I didn’t say anything back right away as I grabbed the rest of my stuff I looked at Jamie I and I told her this you know you were really rude to me and disrespectful and this is not the first time she has been rude and snobby to me.. if you don’t want to deal with wic cards then put them back on your self checks outs then so you don’t have to deal with it period because I rather do it myself then deal with someone who is going to have a disrespectful attitude like Jamie did.. what ever happened to the saying Hy-Vee puts on their commercials ( where there is a helpful smile in every aisle) yea right not when it comes to MS Jamie. Yea as you can tell it had me hot. Never ever again will go in there while she is working and if I do see her I will just return another day because that was it for me
