Website allows you to choose items that are not in stock and then they just send whatever they choose in that case. This has happened on numerous occasions so the last time I ordered I called in to ensure they would have what I ordered online. They did not, so I had to place a new order over the phone I asked them to ensure they had the flowers and vase I chose. They said yes but still ended up sending a cheap clear vase to my friend. HyVee makes it impossible to do an out of town order and ensure you’re recipient is going to get what you paid for.

Advertised services not available but no posting anywhere in the store that services arent available. Wanted to pick up a Western Union wire transfer last week & was told they couldnt do it. This week their USPS service is unavailable. The employees behind the counter offer no alternative options & act like they dont know where things are in the town they live in!! Getting to be as terrible as Walmart lately!

I placed an ordered for pick up on Thursday 3 days ago. Probably the worst experience I have ever had, my “personal shopper “ I would have to say was probably the laziest person I could of came across. On my list was four tubes of ground Turkey, I get a text from Joni telling me they were out of the tubes, ok fine do you have any other Turkey I was advised no. So I call the meat department and speak with Dave, he informs me that yes there was ground Turkey available so I send Joni a text advising her to see Dave in the meat department for the Turkey, I ordered four received 2. Then I get a text that the 32 ounces of cheese I ordered was out of stock. My choice 8 or 12 ounces hmmmm 8x4 =32 so of course had to advise 4 packages or 8 oz cheese equals 32 ounces. I ordered fruit my cantaloupe was pretty much rotten when I got it home and then tonight we pull out the raspberries we had ordered to find mold growing on them!!! GROSS! I spent a nice chunk of change for my groceries and I received rotten food! Don’t worry Hy-Vee we will not be using your online shopping or be shopping in your store again. This experience has really made me think twice about doing business with Hy-Vee again!

Bad, bad service! And I was helped by the “management” Cindy. I don’t recommend this place.first they need to learn how to be polite! They need to hire people that are willing to meet costumer needs! In all occasion, but especially when they request help!

I absolutely love Hy-Vee! I'm disabled and they have been amazing at getting my medication and groceries delivered to my home while unable to leave. I purchased the Hy-Vee Plus card as a Christmas present to myself and it's the best gift I could give myself. Hy-Vee employees have gone above and beyond in helping me with what I need. I highly recommend Hy-Vee and I also recommended purchasing yourself a Hy-Vee Plus card. Thank you Hy-Vee for all you do!!

I ordered a large Peace Lily Plant for my nieces funeral. The plant was not delivered to the funeral home in town where my nieces funeral took place. When I called the store I was told the order was filled but evidently the delivery person took it to a different funeral! This is very upsetting!!I will say the HyVee store floral people were very apologetic and refunded my money, but it does not excuse the problem.
